Stopped by here to rest my legs and loved the experience! I ordered a maple oat latte, and it was delicious. The espresso itself was incredible, and made for a strong but lightly sweet, maple-y beverage. I wish this place was closer to me so I could order it more often! The interior is very nice. I loved the giant mural under the ceiling; it’s super unique, and I had a blast looking at all its little details. Within the cafe they sell many Indigenous made artworks and other craftworks! There were bags, hair-ties, mugs… so much! The drink menu was simple but I loved it. They offer lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based drinks along with drip coffee. Though I only tried a latte, if their drip coffee is as delicious as the espresso within my latte then I imagine it’s fantastic. If you stop by here, I’d recommend getting a coffee for sure. I can’t speak for the other drinks, but they must have AMAZING coffee beans. They also sell some baked goods and cold bottled/canned beverages. For amenities, there was a sizeable washroom, free internet, and I think wall plugs for those who wish to study somewhere! All in all, a super nice experience. I wish I lived nearby so I could do my schoolwork with one of their drinks: EDIT: They’re also LGBTQIA2S+ friendly! It was mentioned on their Instagram when I was browsing it, and I can verify as an LGBTQIA2S+ person that I felt safe there.
New indigenous owner cafe in the Landsdowne area. I tried it for the first time and i was very pleased with the experience. Coffee was great! They don’t have a lot of things to snack - they only had the Bannock and cookies both very good! but the owners mentioned they will be expanding their menu. I love that they sell a variety of indigenous artists items/art. It’s different then other coffee shop. The indigenous background, art and music makes you want to learn more about the culture and make us proud to be part of the indigenous culture! Wishing Beandigen Cafe a lot of success! Miigwetch
Yummy Strawberry Drink I had the other day : and also checked out their store a few months ago for deer antler earrings! They’re amazing & so beautiful! Thank you : Great local business supporting the community. Miigwetch
A great space for coffee and to shop indigenous products. Conveniently located at lansdowne and with indoor seating! They also offer alternative milk options.
Coffee and iced tea were average. I would recommend posting an updated menu on your social media pages since there’s no official website. The cafe stands out compared to others in the area with their collection of Indigenous-made goods and artwork.
Sweet little cafe with seating and an Indigenous gift shop full of handmade crafts and jewelry. Lots of space and a cool vibe.
The cappuccino and cortado were both delicious. The cookie was also incredible! I'll definitely be going back soon
Ordered a hot chocolate and it tasted like Nesquick liquid chocolate mixed with milk. The bathrooms are also not taken care of, the toilet had yellow and pink stains in the bowl, its obvious nobody cleans the toilets and has not done so in at least a week.
Very inviting. A nice place for a quick coffee and snack while in the Glebe Lansdowne Park. Indigenous owned and operated. The bannock is just like my grandmothers. I love the indigenous gifts that are available for sale. I'm a regular when I"m in the area.
Smile and basic courtesy can go a long way. No surprise the place was deserted.Service: 1/5
