Absolutely beautiful trail to walk. Nice wide and maintained trails. Not a busy destination, only saw a couple people the whole time. The route follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment and offers some incredible lookout points. It’s a breathtaking view that’s not to be easily found elsewhere in Ontario. It’s an interesting trail for sure, especially with all the rocks and cedars growing out of the cliff. Maybe not a great place to bring children through as there’s many many edges that drop very far down. A kid could easily trip and fall. Make sure to bring ankle high footwear since it gets quite rocky and uneven at points.
Beautiful views, great hike, free parking! The upper trail with lookout points is a flat easy walk, if you take the side trail it gets a bit bumpy. Going down the stairs to the lower trail brings you to a slightly more difficult trail.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Reaching to the lookout was effertless, since the parking lot is at the same level. The lookout view was spectacular. It was worth the effort to take on the Bruce trail Iroquoia section side trail. It descends to the Forty Mile Creek, very beautiful scenery, a lot stairs to climb on the way back. The trails were well marked.
Lookout trail - Winter Went for a winter hike on the lookout trail and it’s beautiful! Lots of snowy trees, views of Lake Ontario and the Escarpment. Also has Beamer falls on site, but I didn’t take that trail this time. It’s worth it to checkout in the winter. Highly recommend.
Beautiful trails and awesome lookout spots!! Trails are easy to navigate and connect with the Bruce Trail if you'd like a longer path! Parking is limited however. Restrooms: There are restrooms before you takeoff on the paths, near the bird lookout tower.
One of my favourite places for a quite walk with nature. A good place to take account of what is happening in my life. Also love to bring friends here for a look at the views. As history buff love the role the Point played in the War of 1812.
A lovely place to walk. The lookout trail is my favourite. Beautiful place for a sun rise/set. Family friendly and if you like birdwatching, I’ve read that this is a great place for that. Water is beautiful but harder to get to - stairs and hills that can be muddy. Waterfall is accessed off the trail, by a bridge and can only get certain views of it depending on if it’s rained recently. I talk about this place in depth on my blog, katieoutdoors.wordpress.com
Pretty good place to start with so many trails so its bit confusing make sure you know your way where you wanna go. And be careful of broken beer botles glasses on trails. Other than that pretty good trail.
The views are amazing, the trails are nice and clean. Parking leaves something to be desired. Do not park outside the legal zones, or you will get hit with a ticket.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This is a great place to go trail walking. The water fall is at the green bridge on Ridge rd, which there is parking right there.
