A must visit whenever I’m in town. The goats always put a smile on my face. Hoping we get to catch the stampede one day! The reccomended donation price is more than worth it.
The farm/petting zoo has many small critters mostly goats for the kids to pet and play with. It's also the general home to the parks peacock population although they commonly jump the fence and wander the grounds, heading to the nearby grass, ponds and occasionally out into the neighborhood. There may still be an Albino peacock living there. Entrance is by donation but you can also just hover outside the fence and have a look.
Great small farm for animal interactions with kids , just beside the parking area and within the park. The entrance fee is by donation only --- but the receptionist guy just put the minimum amount on the pos machine, so it's just paying an entrance fee anyways.
Amazing farm, entrance by donation, animals are clean and well taken care of, staff is always around and friendly, my 4-year old had the best time petting and brushing goats.
Perfect little area to stop at and see some animals while walking around Beacon Hill Park. Good for all ages, and entry by donation. Goats are very friendly and the pens are maintained very well.
