Beachwood Eatery

What a great place to eat! Has a real hometown feel. Polite service. Food is great. We had the fish and chips and burgers and the Philly Cheese Steak. All were excellent!

Beachwood is a friendly warm environment. Food is always wonderful. The staff treat you like family or an old friend. In these two pictures is Build your own pasta bowl and a chef's salad.

Went in with my wife. Ordered chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Both looked great, but were extremely salty. The biscuits weren’t cooked all the way and doughy in the two that were tried. The rims of cups were very sticky and not clean. The server said sorry and didn’t offer to fix it or any other solutions, paid full price for two bites of each entree.

We went for seafood buffet. It was ok. Would have loved to see maybe a baked potato and a little more seafood without all the breading but overall it was nice to get out. Salad bar really needs some upgrading & some changes please! It's been the same for so many years even when it was under different owners

The ladies running the restaurant are some of the nicest and hardest working people I've seen in restaurants in the gorge. They get your order promptly AND correct. They check on you periodically to make sure you're doing good. Even on times when I go only for the lottery I get only the best service. Great food and good vibes and genuine customer service.

I had an appointment in the Dalles. We decided to try your restaurant. It was amazing! I had the Shrimp, Fish, and Clam platter. Freshest clams I've had in a very long time. The fish was so flaky and moist. My husband had the chicken fried steak, almost the size of his whole plate. Hand battered goodness. We will definitely be returning during my next appointment visit. Thank you all for the wonderful, yummy food.

Worst food I ever had, a whole egg shell in my food, bad meat. Orange juice rancid, fruit rotten. Got sick right away, awfull!! I got fruit instead of toast, pineapple was gray and slimy. A whole egg shell was still connected to my eggs. I didn’t mind being given the wrong food, I could fix that, but I couldn’t fix the fizzy orange juice. We literally spit chunks of food out. We paid, life is hard enough on people, but I’m 57 I’ve never had this happen before. There was only one other table with two people. Waitress said, it’s not there regular morning cook.the owner should be paying attention, needs to be closed unless he is there.

Quality of food has dropped quite a bit the last year or so. Orders are constantly wrong, food has been cold several times. Makes me sad to leave this review because 2 years ago I’d say you couldn’t find a better burger in town but unfortunately that’s no longer close to true.

This place was 5 stars across the board! Great food. Great service. We'll be back!

We waited too long nearly 40 mins for chicken fingers and fish dinner which was two small pieces of fish for our food because they "had to call in another cook." The waitress was very apologetic. The fish was not cooked and we had to ask for a reduction in the bill. It was not busy at all.
