Younger floor workers are very nice and friendly. The older man and especially the older woman are very rude... They make it seem like they are doing you a favor by doing their jobs. For example i was mailing about 6 amazon returns and needed the receipts for them, the lady seemed very upset that i wanted them and told me i didn't need them. I said i know but id would like them as i had a issue before so i make sure to get all receipts now. She started groaning and sighing while taking my packages. She even started throwing them around! At the end she just grabs all the receipts in a ball and slams them down without saying anything... Very terrible experience, It makes the shopping very uncomfortable as well. I try to avoid going there when I know they are on shift, customers beware lol.
I’ve had several perfectly pleasant experiences here. I have sent documents from Toronto to India a few times and it costed X amount with a delivery timeline of 3 days. When I went in to this location a few weeks ago, the lady behind the counter kept saying that there was no such option and that I had to choose between either a considerably cheaper and slower option, or a more expensive and faster option. I suggested she look up prices using the destination’s postal code since that’s what the person who helped me previously did. She did this and was able to find the option I had previously used. She apologized for the mixup and was very nice about the whole thing. I went back last week, having to send another document to the same location in India. This time, an older woman was behind the counter. She was fairly short, in my view, with other customers whilst I was waiting in line. When it was my turn, she was extraordinarily abrupt. She insisted I pick either the cheaper or the more expensive option, not even looking up the third option that I had previously availed of. Most importantly, her tone bordered on rude and disrespectful. It was an unpleasant experience that left me quite surprised and confused. I will be avoiding the Hallmark store and Canada post in general, as much as possible. The folks at the UPS store across the street are so very patient and helpful.
This Canada post location is great! I brought in an important package I needed to ship and they went above and beyond to make sure we found the right box to ship it safely along with the right card to include in the package. They took the time to package everything securely and were very kind to interact with. Thank you!
I called inquiring about a package I had dropped off at their location but that had not been picked up by Canada Post for almost 2 days. She told me "I would just have to wait" and even with repeated explanations seemed unclear as to what the situation was. She insisted it had been picked up even though it had not been scanned. Although her tone was kind of rude throughout, I was completely calm throughout until I could overhear her complaining about me to someone next to her. When I finally lost my cool and started complaining she hung up on me. I understand that Canada Post is experiencing delays. It continues to say my package is due to be delivered today. I was just trying to determine what my delivery expectations should be.
The employees here are very competent and friendly.. The owner is always helpful. I'm in here a lot because of my post office box. All of the younger staff do speak good English and are learning every day. The owner is about the spirit of multi culturalism in Canada and should be commended.
They are extremely bad overall. There is a lot of communication issues, due to language barriers. Some of the employees have very good english but a lot of them struggle because they are exhange students. So it can be really frustrating at times. Plus as other people have mentioned the main owners are EXTREMELY Rude and make you feel like a criminal for even coming here. I think people should start filing complaints to Canada Post. I have had my fare share of problems, including being refused a package simply because I had my order number only on my phone, which is ALLOWED. They don't know anything, but act like it and refuse to apologize for their own mistakes.
I had to go here to this location prove my identification for a credit card, they have yet to mail it to the credit card company its been well over 2 business weeks since I've dropped it off at this post office. The woman woman working there almost refusd to take my purple card as identification she said it wasn't valid i had to argue with her and go to the cansda post website to prove it to her it took 20 minutes for her to sign off on the paper.
Very friendly service. I pick up packages from here regularly and have never had a problem. I have a feeling many of the poor reviews have more to do with the customers' attitude and misdirection than the employees. Problems with Canada Post should not be projected onto a post office.
I don’t expect much dropping off a package at a post office but clearly the family operating this branch do not enjoy their jobs too much! Consistently miserable! But my package was mailed without delay.
Quality and service is exceptionally good. Wonderful, attentive, most pleasant professional people to deal with on every visit. As a longtime beaches resident, I have been receiving excellent, professional and friendly services from this shop/post office for many years.
