I went here only for the wild lights and it was quite amazing to experience. Got some of my favorite pictures and could see very few animals. Beautiful train journey though. Always keep one dollar for the train. Wondered how they kept the Santa and reindeers on top of the mountain. Loved the detailing in that also to include Rudolph the RED NOSE REINDEER. Illuminated dragon was really good so was the arch and dinosaurs. Overall a great experience.
Loved it, it was a really fun experience! Each animal exhibit had lots of interesting information about that animal, the train ride was super fun, the park was really clean, and the gift shop had lots of cool things I bought several items! Loved spending the day here, I would visit again!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Really cool place! All the animals are rescues or rehabs. Seems the habitats are a little overgrown but we still saw the grizzlies, the kermodes bears, cougar, wolves, fox, elk, rams, mountain goats and so much more in the 1.5 hr we were there. Go early to beat the heat!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Amazing experience with the family. I'd it's sunny remember to bring sun screen! The facility was incredibly clean and the animals seemed happy!
Good way to kill a day with the little ones. Bunch of different rescue animals to check out. Even got a train that does a couple loops of the park. Worst part was a cheeseburger I ordered that I'm pretty sure wasn't meatit was grey and slimy and tasted like freezer burnt cardboard It inevitably found its way to the garbage after 2 bites. So if you eat at the Cafe order the wraps and not the burgers.
This was my second time visiting BC Wildlife Park. This time we got chance to see less wildlife compared to the last year visit. They actually rescue the animals and treat them. Then they release those to their natural habitat, which is a great effort.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
So much fun! We have been to the Wildlife park in the summer and now in the winter too. It was a great experience both times of year. Restrooms: Clean and well stocked. Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables around the park as well as a concession to buy hot food from.
Great rescue facility. Well worth the stop. The bears may be the attraction but there is much moreVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Great variety of rescued animals Didn't get to see some animals as they were sleeping which is understandable. Commendable rescue work! Too many animals to list! Grizzly bear and cougar are there!
Love that the park hosts a variety of rescued animals. It looks as though they really do try to provide a nice living space for the animals although some of the spaces did look a little sparse. Would have been nice to take a tour so maybe we could have learned more about the animals and their respective situations. It was very hot out so we spent a decent amount of time in the "Birds of Prey" exhibit which was very "cool" both literally and figuratively.
