BC Stamp Works

Yesterday I was lead astray by Google because it sent me to their previous location on Richards St. But there was a sign thoughtfully placed on the window directing me to their new location at 950 Evans St. To be clear if I had used google maps I would not have been led astray. In any case when I got there I had the good fortune to meet Mary who took my order for a custom made stamp and my other purchase. The next day I got a call from Mary that my order was ready for pick up. Wow! I dropped by to pick up my order and explained that what I purchased was way above my capacity and Mary accepted this and understood completely my situation. So I was able to return what I had purchased and I ordered another stamp to resolve my problem. I want to tell you that customer service and quality here is amazing. Oh yea another thing is that Staples does not do stamps any more. And another thing : I do not take any credence when I see very negative reviews from people that only write a few reviews.

I went to this shop to have a stamp made up for my business. They provided me with a proof that I approved, but then they didn't make the stamp according to the proof. When I asked them to re-do it to the proof they provided, they refused, told me I'd have to pay the same amount as the first one for a new stamp. Not impressed. Leo, The Manager at BC Stamp Works, and I had a conversation yesterday about the problem I had with the stamp they supplied. I followed up with some supplemental information and he called me this morning and left a rambling 3 1/2 minute message, in which he called me a liar, among things. I thought it might be a good idea to provide some more information, so I've uploaded the original email message asking for a round stamp, they're proof showing a round stamp, a photo of the finished product and how it looks when it's used to stamp on porcelain. In what universe is that a round stamp, Leo?

We ordered a round stamp online, uploaded our file in a large format from Illustrator. The stamp would not fit well and I received a call, and an email. They offered me a better stamp that was slightly cheaper. I seriously appreciate expert opinions when it comes to my business. We got the stamp, 3 days later. Self inking, as advertised. It is just a black ink stamp but the detail was better than I expected. I am pretty sure some editing was done with the file. I am very please and we are discussing other stamps we can order.

Would have given zero star if there is an option. Be aware the owner Leo is extremely rude and unprofessional. He has no patience and would SWEAR at you over the phone when you are inquiring information about ordering their items. Maybe he thinks he won’t lose the client because our company has been ordering from them for many years, but if you have other choices like the other person mentioned here, go elsewhere! He’s definitely not worth your time and money if he can treat his “long time existing client” in this kind of manner. Staples Copy & Print as well as Geo Hewitt Co. probably appreciate your business more. That is where we will go in the future! UPDATE: out of all the calls he received during the day, he knows which number to call back, not to apologize for the “misunderstanding” as he claimed, but to interrogate me for the incident. I guess this is the way to show his appreciation for business... and to add, I did not submit any order after the call of course so there was no transaction processed. We already took it somewhere else.

Great experience here, I had 2 custom stamps made up. I sent over my designs and got a confirmation email back within the same day and the stamps were made by the end of the day. Incredible 1 day turn around on custom work. I’m sure this may not always be the case but I will definatley order here again in the future.

I needed a stamp because I had 300 checks to sign. I sent an email to BC Stamp on Monday morning inquiring about it and got a reply shortly after. I scanned my signature to them with a measurement in centimeters of the length and height I wanted my signature to be. I picked up the stamp the next day at 10:00 a.m. I worked with Leo and Ken. The cost was $39 plus tax. The service was excellent. I was extremely satisfied.

I picked up my custom stamp and realized once I got home that I had made a mistake and ordered the inverted version of our design. This stamp was for a charity donation of care packages to our front line medical workers in Vancouver and had a tight deadline. The shop owner was kind enough to remake the correct stamp for me at no charge. Thank you BC Stamp works for your kindness and generosity. I will be recommending you guys to everyone I know needing stamp work.

Good fast service, order online and follow the guidelines. Delivery was very reasonable. My logo came out very clear and am quite happy with it. I can now stamp my logo on to my handmade goods. The ink pad is a little flimsy, not like the metal ones we used to have. All in all good experience, and the Stamp is great!

Great customer service. The 1st trial stamp had to be fixed, they did it in record time and charging no extra. I'm happy to have chosen this local store versus a cheaper on line company. It's way more practical to adjust the stamp if something goes wrong.
