I've been shopping here since they first opened as Central Market. If you need foods for people with dietary restrictions, this is the best place to shop. I love the amazing selection in a wide variety of departments. You will especially want to check out the bulk foods section. They are a fabulous place to stop for a quick lunch. You can pick something up in the deli and eat upstairs or outside. They also have a separate coffee shop. Their take-and-bake pizza is the absolute best. The prices can be on the higher side. You will find more exotic, luxury, and organic foods here than many places. They have proper bathrooms that are well-maintained. Columbia Bank has a branch inside. I've always found the service at this store to be exemplary. The owners are local, and they are very community-minded.
This review is Central Market Pizza, which is definitely one of my top places to grab either a slice or a whole pizza. Great variety, reasonable prices and delicious tasting. While there browse around the grocery store, great selection, very nice salad bar and a nice seating area both upstairs indoor and outdoor balcony. Many other food choices to either take home or eat at the market, you will not be disappointed!
I have never been in a super market with such outrageous pricing. If you are on a fixed income like Social Security please don’t even enter the store. There is no way that someone on a fixed income could even afford bananas in this joint. This is definitely a store for those of you who are wealthy and can afford to spend discretionary income.
Town and Country aka Central Market is Whole Food before Whole Food knew it was Whole Food. Love the variety of organic. Non-stuck-up folks just doing their grocery shopping. Will be back.
Town & Country Market Bakery is where I always go for cakes, they are so yummy! I usually send a photo of what I’m looking for and they make just that! Also everything else in the store is great! The deli, the soups, the drinks, the candies you can’t find anywhere else, the cafe and the food that have no additives to them!! We love this store.
This is a great place to visit. It is quite expensive for some of their items though. Love their fresh fish. They also have real fresh squeezed orange juice. You can even squeeze it yourself in their juicer if you prefer. There are many items here you wont find at most grocery stores. There is a small counter at the front inside of the store where you can buy hot dogs and pizza by the slice. Very much like Costco. There are tables upstairs for you to enjoy your pizza slice.
It's a supermarket with a decent assortment of food. I'm not crazy about the produce which I find to be rather overpriced for the quality. You can find the same exact produce at less fancy grocery stores for at least 20% cheaper. The meat selection is good except for the chicken. If you want seafood this is one of the best places in town for great seafood with friendly and helpful seafood mongers. The people behind the deli counter are also very nice, but make sure to taste the cold cuts because I've had some stale meat from the counter when I didn't try it first. It's usually the fattier meats like salami and prosciutto that seem to be off. Perhaps the turnover on those products are lower so they don't sell them fast enough. I also stopped buying any of their in-house prepared meals after finding hair in the food on at least two separate occasions. People need to start wearing hair nets and beard nets when preparing food. Overall, it's an ok place to shop for food but there's a lot of room for improvement.
Being from the East Coast, I loved shopping here while visiting my son on the West Coast.
Very pricy store but in my opinion it is worth it for the quality. Their selection is very admirable amongst all categories and we have found a lot of great international food to expand our palate. The prepackaged meals are a great go to for lunch or dinner if you're not in the mood to cook, produce selection is amazing, their sushi has great selections, seafood is top quality and their meats as well. Lunch meats, cheese, bread, wine, salad bar, coffee and teas- all top notch. Central fills the void I get when I return from traveling to large cities with a huge selection of restaurants to choose from.
Borderline boutique grocery store. This is a nice place to get a variety of items you might not find in the bigger chain stores but that's the point. The selections are excellent and the quantity is there. If you like Mac and Cheese at the 10 boxes for $10, this might not be your store but If you like the Moroccan Spice Souk, this could be for you.
