We found this hidden jewel in the Rockies. Michelin quality Indian food on a budget!! Staff were super helpful and friendly!! Large portion size for a great price. Whether you are driving through or staying, Bay Leaf is a must go! This foodie is impressed!
Amazing food, amazing service. I had grilled paprika tikka which had great flavours. however the food got late by few minutes but that was completely understandable as the restaurant was busy. the serving staff was very attentive and helpful. even the dish was recommended by the server which was right on spot for my taste. i will definitely be back.
My husband and I recently visited the Bay Leaf restaurant in Cranbrook and had a delicious meal. Truly authentic flavours and a great variation within the menu with generous portion sizes. The garlic coriander Naan breads were to die for . The staff were so very knowledgeable, attentive and courteous too during our visit. We are looking forward to making our way through the Bay leaf’s menu as local residents of the best Indian fusion food in the valley. Ying & Steve.

I ate there last night; and the staff were incredible. We had the butter chicken, which is such a common dish, however, it is very common not to have a good butter chicken. And this was excellent. A combination of both Nepali and Indian Food with a "Canadian menu" as well - the service and professionalism were second to none. I met the owner, and two servers. I emailed my friend back in Toronto and let him know I was having butter chicken in Cranbrook, and he told me that the best he had ever found was at Baylea Indian Fusion - and it was kismet! that is where I was! How is that for the strength of their food? A special thank you to Simran for her service! Outstanding.
Wow the best restaurant I have ever been in cranbrook. The front staffs were super friendly and their service were just outstanding. The chef personally came and interacted with me on my table and that made me feel really good. Me and my friends order chicken lababdar, butter chicken, naan, lamb chop and rice on table 1. The food without a doubt was delicious and outstanding. I didn’t know that they serve something called “chef special” for being the first customer of the day. We were lucky today to receive that and it was again delicious and superb. I highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant and enjoy their delicious foods whenever you are in cranbrook. It is better to check it out and experience yourself by going there. Usually I don’t write review this long but this restaurant deserves it.I will definitely visit this restaurant again.
Nothing like a warm hug from the inside on a snowy day!! Everything was amazing had the butter chicken/ chimichurri chk/ and beef vindaloo. I'm soo happy to have found a beef vindaloo that I love sooo much!!! Order enough for left overs u won't be disappointed!! Quick delivery!

One of the best Indian restaurant in Cranbrook BC. Chef from Bay Leaf gave personal attention and detail to our catering service. I highly recommend Bay Leaf catering for your small to large size functions. Food is very good quality and authetic. Thanks to Bay Leaf for providing catering service at affodable rate to our occasion. The food was very delicous.
I had an amazing experience at bayleaf. I went there with my family on my friends recommendation. Though my food was severed a bit late, I was treated by a complementary dish by chef later on and it was delicious. Overall the foods were absolutely worth full waiting,it was delicious. Hope to visit this restaurant in Cranbrook soon and I suggest everybody too to go and experience yourself. Thanks bayleaf..!!!
