Very nice Staff and Physical Therapists. I had 3 different Therapists and they were all kind, compassionate and hard working. They all were working as a team, and always looked out for my best interests.
I've had nothing but great experiences, from Kathy and Lynda at the front desks, to all of the physical and occupational therapists I have had the pleasure of putting up with me and still do. Thank you for helping me feel better.
First and foremost the therapy staff is great. The reason for the one-star is the journey it takes to get to see them. The process for getting military insurance authorizations at BAMC is broken. Military families are well taken care of by all other Aurora/Bay Area departments. The quality of this family has received has been excellent. BAMC however seems to be the only department with a problem with military insurance. When a doctor puts an order/ referral in for PT, BAMC is quick to make an appointment but fails to get authorization like EVERY OTHER specialty care. Even competitor OSMS does it. So when the appointment comes the patient is turned away because insurance won't pay for it. BAMC then fails further by not communicating this with the referring doctor. Eventually the patient gives up on getting the PT or is successful at elevating it to a high enough level within the medical administration get someone to brute-force it through. Either way the process is not set up to support the military family. This has been pointed out to them for 4 years now and no one has been able to work TOGETHER to get it fixed.
The nurses are extreemly disrespectful and extremely rube and dont even care about people my wife n kid was waiting in the car n i had to hurry up. N all they told me was they dont care n then they started to take their sweet time on purpouse n then they thaught i left the room n both nurses started to talk about me. And saying really disrespectful things i will never go here again. N i think. Almost everyone there is a. Joke n. Extreemly rude
Therapy staff is great. The receptionist very rude and unpleasant. BELLIN is much more professional and helpful.
I love the mobility center. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate my physical therapist Julie.
