This is a very challenging 18 holes and very fun to play. Played two rounds this weekend and our group enjoyed it very much. Staff was great and the grounds well kept. The only criticism I have is that most bunkers have some rocks mixed in and not enough sand to get a wedge under the ball very well. Luckily I didn’t end up in there much. All the cart paths and most of the parking lot is newly paved with asphalt and that is really nice to see.
One of the best public tracks in the Collingwood area. Challenging layout. Greens run true. Quite walkable. But they really need to do something about the traps. Since Golf North took over, the upkeep has declined noticeably. I understand that there are plans to address the traps. We’ll see. But still a really good course.
Very nice golf course. Greens and fairways are in good shape. The holes are challenging but the sand traps are in terrible condition. Price is reasonable with a power cart. We would play the course again now that we know the course. Staff were friendly and they have a marshal that helps to keep things moving along at a good pace. Bring some extra golf balls because there are lots of hazards if you don't hit it straight down the middle.
This place seems to run on a shoestring. One person taking green fees, signing for deliveries, selling range balls and trying to run the tee. Outside services had only one guy doing bag drop, carts, giving range balls. Staff was nice but there just was not enough. There is NO STARTER so it is a free for all with jerks jumping in in front of you.power carts are beat to death, seats ripped, dirty. Course is in good shape however greens are slow and bunkers are atrocious! Full of rocks!!! Pace of play is good. Range is good and balls are mostly in good shape. Don’t know if I would come back again….layout is just ok and the first tee thing left a bad taste in my mouth.
Great layout and practice facilities. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful despite dealing with the same staff shortages that all business are at the moment. Really enjoyed the back nine some great holes. Value for money.
Decent layout, lots of water, naturalized areas grown in, decent greens. Awful bunkers - many stones, not maintained. Waste bunkers are hard packed. No GPS on power carts. Golf Shop/cafe understaffed. Golf north frustrating - can't book multiple times, no tel no for ProShop, cheap paper scorecards.
A great layout, and the course was in great shape. The bunkers sand was hard in most traps, but the traps were still in better condition than a lot of courses I have played this year. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great day overall.
We very much enjoyed our day here. Great course layout and staff were all very friendly and helpful! The fairways need some attention. The greens are in good shape minus the lack of people fixing their ball marks. We were the only group out on the course and finished in 3 hours. Very enjoyable afternoon.
Great track very windy today though we all had fun. Just left a short description. Need to add that they needed more food options for after a round. Need to let you take the cart to your car or the range. The older gentleman was also very rude and grumpy when asking the question about the use of a cart to get to the range. Was in the gazebo and told to get out. No signs saying stay out or do not enter. Was trying to get information!!!! If you can take it to the car to put away your clubs. Should be ok to get your clubs. Just saying.
Really enjoyable course! Challenging off the tee box but scorable if you're putting your ball in the right spots. Definitely a course to visit in the area
