Mmmmm. Thai food. I love Thai food, and this place came highly recommended to us by friends. I was looking through their website as we waited for our food, and what I love about them is that they are family-owned yay! Local!, and they've been around for about 35 years! Best of all, they had at least two of my favorite dishes I've ordered from other Thai restaurants! The other thing I love about this place is that they actually use fresh Thai peppers for spice instead of the dried I prefer the fresh, I think it gives the dish more flavor that way. A word of caution: if you think white pepper is too spicy, you may want to stick to something no hotter than medium.....unless you're congested, then, by all means, order the Thai hot. For me, between medium and hot was just right! Features: At the time we went, they had a sign indicating they are short-staffed, so there may be slight delays. It was fine for us though, the service was great.
Nice service Nice ambiance But there were a bunch of people, so it was noisy. We ordered red curry and basil fried rice, both tasty good. Highly recommend for Thai foods.
The crispy chicken wing is really taste. Tom Tom is too salty , the fried rice is okay the beef is a little too dry for me
Surprised by how much time I spent during my visit. There was only one other party two people in the building during non-rush hours on a weekday, so it makes sense that they wouldn't need a ton of staff, but I spent about an hour here, and I wanna say it took about ten minutes to eat. What I got was GOOD, don't get me wrong. The menu is as simple as the actual food in each option, and I mean that in a good way. After eventually getting my food, I realized I had no silverware. I let the waitress know, and she promptly grabbed it for me. On top of my wait, though, the party of two near me got up to leave JUST before their food came out, and they showed up later than I did. The overall atmosphere is pleasant. It's pretty humble, but in good taste. The wood and green theme it has gives a pretty good indication that the food has a very fresh taste to it, and that just boosts it. Plus, the music matches. It isn't your everyday radio garbage. My takeaway from the visit is that it's exactly what it looks like: a cozy, friendly, little corner that adds some variety to Midland. I'll have to visit during busier hours to see if things are quicker around then, but I otherwise have absolutely no complaints.
Food is very good. Our waitress was pleasant even though she was very busy! I loved the Tom Yum vegetable soup and would have been happy with that as my meal instead of an appetizer!
The food here was very authentic! I grew up in Asia and I really enjoyed the food here. I will definitely be back. The service was great as well. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and my wife and I really enjoyed our date here. If you are looking for authentic Thai food or just something good to eat this is the place to go!
Had spring rolls and Tom Kha. Everything was great! Apparently they are short staffed for chefs but they tell you up front, which is nice. We did not have to wait but we had appetizers and soup. Vaughn was a great server!Food: 5/5
Always have loved the food here. They have a very wide menu to choose from. The food is spicy and flavorful. Almost everything I've tasted is good. The ambience is good, servers are great and respectful. Their sticky rice with Mango is very good. Ambience is great, quantity is very good. I love the spice level too, can be a little extra for the wee ones. ;
Oh my my !! This will be my all time favorite Thai restaurant in Michigan. I don’t mind driving 2 hours from Rochester Hills to Midland, just to eat food here. Last time I visited, this place was small. But now they moved to Midland downtown. Now they have big and nicely decorated place. Perfect for any style of dinner. My favorite dish is “Curry fried rice”.
Trendy looking Thai place in Midland, MI of all places. Was skeptical at first, because Midland, but the food was really tasty. Reminded me of dishes we had during our visit to Chiang Mai. Food took a bit to come out... Not sure why as when we ordered there were only two other tables occupied, but overall a great experience.
