Service was nice and friendly but food took too long to make - waited 40 mins for my dish. They said it was because they are very busy at the time but it didn’t really seem packed? They did offer me a complimentary soda for the wait which was appreciated. I had ordered a Pad Thai with chicken and tiger shrimp. But unfortunately was underwhelmed as the shrimp did not taste like it was throughly cooked and mixed with noodles and sauce. I found it just okay and for almost $19 I had higher expectations.
The service was great, but the food was no so fine. I ordered the Khao Soi noodles but it was tasteless and the beef was mostly tendons and gristle. Wouldn't recommend. My friend ordered the Pad Thai and again, wouldn't recommend. I really wanted to like this place, but it didn't sparkle or even shine.Food: 2/5
Everything here is great, from the staff to the food is fantastic. Not to mention the decoration of the restaurant also gives customers a feeling like you are enjoying a meal in Thailand. This restaurant is quite suitable for couples or families.Recommended dishesPad Thai with Chicken
Good service. Food was better compared to last time visited which was before the pandemic. Some menu items has changed probably. Pad thai Bangkok style was delicious. Their curry is the best though the potato not as good as before though. Maybe it was fried before or battered, which I don't like. They still have dinner for 2 for $50 without the dessert though. It was still very filling. Restaurant is clean n service was good.
Lunch specials comes with Tom yum soup and a spring roll. I had red curry chicken and my friend chicken pad thai. Both were good and the server was very friendly. I think the last time I visited was over a decade ago. So glad to be back again and the food quality is consistent I believe. We did wait for a while for our food though. So if you are in a rush, better to order ahead and get take out instead.
Amazing food and incredible service. My boyfriend and I had a great meal here recently. The panang curry was absolutely delicious and filing. We also tried the coconut tea which is perfect on a cold day. The servers were very welcoming and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
Tasty Thai food and cozy restaurant. I coincidentally ordered food from their Thornhill location just the week before and I liked it. So, when we came upon the downtown location we naturally expected the same great food. And we were not disappointed. The Pad Thai was great, green curry was outstanding, coconut rice had just the right amount of coconut milk, the eggplant dish was wonderful. The cocktails were good too!
AMAZING place! I had the Red Curry with beef and it was so warm and comforting in the cold winter. I’ve never been a fan of eggplant but I ate all of it. Definitely glad I tried something new here!
Good food, right sized portions. Ordered the papaya salad and a couple of curries. Lichee mint drink was delish!Food: 5/5
Basically ok. I ordered the Thai basil beef but it lacked spice and the mango salad. The mango salad was drenched in a sugar syrup so wasn’t the sour/sharp dish I expected. Served a purpose but wouldn’t go back
