Bashir's Auto Centre

I had a jug of milk leak on the back seat of my car a few days ago. I dropped by today to have a quick shampoo of the rear seat, to get rid of the awful smell. Much to my surprise, a shampoo machine was wheeled out to my car and promptly the seat was shampooed. Here is the best part, I was told there was NO CHARGE for this as it was just a quick shampoo and I was a valued customer of theirs. I have had 3 vehicles detailed here over the past 2 years and I have always been more than satisfied with the service and results. This is a very well run shop with respectful employees.

I left work early to pick up my car from Bashir's Auto Centre in North Vancouver after having my car detailed ($149 package). I called earlier in the afternoon to confirm I could pick it up at 4:45 pm and when I arrived, the owner was nowhere to be found and didn't show up until 5:30 pm with my keys. He acted like keeping me waiting for 45 minutes was no big deal. The two technicians I met were friendly however the detailing job was barely adequate and the owner was unprofessional and disorganised.

I made elaborate plans to have my car detailed at Bashir's at 9:30am on a Wednesday morning. I have three kids and my husband and I both work so it was complicated. When I made the appointment I was assured by the person on the phone that there would be someone available at 9:30 to give me a ride home. When I arrived that morning the person there did not know about the booking. When I asked if I could still get a ride if I left the car the response I got was "not a chance". This place has serious communication issues amongst its employees resulting in poor service (not to mention the gas I wasted driving 30km there and back for an appointment that never happened).
