Barrie Taxi Ltd. I am done with your services and will be finding another taxi company to deal with. Since the beginning of 2018, I was involved in a car accident in one of your cabs. I had called in to talk the manger, and talked to Tom. All I got was from this conversation was minuscule information and, a "Are you Okay?" Secondly I believe I have missed placed my wallet last night, while I was coming home from work. I took a cab home and have called twice today. The first time the girl was very helpful and tried to contact the driver for me to see if my wallet was in there. But the Driver wasn't working at that time. So she said she would leave a note and call back after 6 when the driver was working and someone would be able to contact him. Well I just called back the dispatch and I got the most inconsiderate person I have had to deal with all day! First off when I called in asking if my wallet has shown up or have heard anything, she told me just to contact the police, without even attempting to try to help me out. I explained to her that I was talking to someone earlier and they told me to call back. The woman on the phone said, there isn't really anything she could do and nothing has shown up. So I asked her if she could contact the driver to see if my wallet was in the car. I got a "Huff" and said fine Ill be back in a few minutes. Puts me on a brief and I mean Brief Hold (3 Seconds or less) and said she couldn't contact the driver. ( I know for a fact it takes more than 3 seconds to punch in the number and at least wait for one ring ) So I got told that she would leave a note but I should contact the police. Well I'll be contacting the police and seeing if anything shows up. But you have lost 1 valued customer that has been taking your services for the past 20 years.

Terrible customer service. Arranged to be picked up.. was told the wait would be 20 minutes. Called back 1 hour later... They insisted that a call was never placed. As a result, had to walk home. The walk was 45 minutes and it was -25 outside. Never again will myself or anybody I know use Barrie Taxi.

Done, today was my last ride with Barrie taxi. Dispatch is friendly and organized but the drivers and the vehicles are another thing. If I had more patience to explain my experiences, I would.

I hate to leave a poor review, but i felt my life was INDANGERED, and was also given FALSE INFORMATION. Usually I take Barrie Delux taxi services when in need of a taxi, but i only had 20$ cash on me and i was scared it would not be enough. I misplaced my bank card, so I figured I’d call delux to see if they take apple pay(they dont). I called Barrie taxi services and asked as well, the dispatcher was very nice, and did say they had apple pay! Great start right? So I give my address and all of that and she says the taxi driver is close about 5 mins. My taxi driver arrived about 15 minutes past the given time, I dont mind waiting but I was in a hurry to get to my destination. It was a little annoying. When i got in the car the fee was already at 4$ which really confused me. Delux has never done that, they always start the timer thing after they’ve picked me up. The lady I found extremly rude, she made snarky comments, and I was just very uncomfortable. Turning on to County Rd 27 and going straight, theres an intersection for going straight or turning on to Ardagh Rd. Well im lucky Ardagh doesnt continue because i could have been very hurt. The light was green for us but as we got closer it had turned red. I dont know if she wasnt paying attention or what was going on in her mind, but she STILL WENT TO TURN LEFT. I KID YOU NOT SHE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION WHEN A TRUCK TURNED LEFT AND COULD HAVE HIT US. All she said was “oops this doesnt look good”. We got to where I needed to be, costed me 19$. I dont feel I should have payed. But i did, and guess what, apple pay isnt compatable. It’s a good thing I brought 20$ cash just to be safe. I’m not a person who argues, and complains about everything. But today with Barrie Taxi services was the worst. I will never use this service again. The ladys Vehicle is 3061. Look out.

**AVOID USING IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY OR ANYONE ELSES** March 10 2018 my wife and I were driving along Kozlov St to go for breakfast when a Barrie Taxi pulled out of the world gym parking lot directly in front of us on a snow covered road. The driver didn't even look. Once he was in the lane, and realized, he STOPPED THE CAR. I was forced to drive my car over the curb and into snow bank in order to only narrowly miss hitting the cab. The driver then pulled up and into a driveway. I got out of my vehicle (stuck in the snow) and approached the driver to get his driver number so I could report the incident to the company. On my way back to my vehicle another Barrie Taxi pulled out of the world gym lot, accelerated directly towards me and narrowly missed me as I barely got into my car. As he passed he laid on the horn and flipped me off. In no way was I in the wrong, the initial driver even acknowledged that he didn't look.. yet I nearly get run over by some hot headed cab driver after only barely avoiding a collision with another. If these are the skills and temperaments of their drivers, we should all be avoiding their services. When I called into the office the girl on the phone didn't even seem surprised to hear what happened, it was just another day as all she asked was if I got the drivers number and then told "they will be spoken to" AVOID USING IF YOU VALUE YOUR OR ANYONE ELSES SAFETY!!
