Just got off the phone from the family department. Called to get advice and ask questions politely regarding a restraining order against abuse... I am a very young adult knowing nothing about this in need of help. Miserable woman on the phone was nothing but rude and absolutely zero help. I asked where else I could take my matter that would be able to handle it for me and was not given a phone number or another department or even a suggestion of elsewhere.. she told me to show up at 8:30am and take a number and someone might help me because they come at different times (seemingly whenever they feel like it) and was never given hours or anything more. Next time i’ll use google instead of waste my time calling people who clearly hate their job.

Worst place ever. Stay away! They should be investigated by local Government MP, MPP for incompetence and gross misconduct and abuse. Call the number, no one will answer ever! And if someone does answer, they make it quite clear to you that they don't care about their job!
