Dr. Abbud is an amazing, caring doctor who goes above and beyond for his patient’s care. I give thanks to God that he is our family’s gp except my new baby but his practice is full. Dr. Abbud staff is fabulous and you know you he’ll get the messages, requests, questions as the ladies are diligent and accurate. Dr. Abbud has called to explain things, he has contacted me via video conference as with the pandemic the appointments at the clinic were limited. He has referred me to excellent doctors for my two pregnancies and he graciously saw my 5 days old baby to ensure she was fine even though his day was full it was also a very important holiday for him and most of his staff. The clinic is always busy amd sometimes not always he might be a bit behind schedule but rest assured that it’s because he is giving you 100% of his attention and care. He is not the type of doctor who asks you to book an appointment for every single ailment or concern. Dr. Abbud is the best physician anyone can ask for, everyone is in sync at the clinic and the work flow is great I mean administrative staff and pharmacists.
Five star hands down. On point, directly to the solution is the only way to describe this doctor. Anything under a stellar 5 is not suiting here. If there is somebody whos rating do not reflect the care and professionalism here it is the perfect example.
My review is strictly for travelers and based on my personal experience. I have been contacted by the clinic with a copy of what I have agreed on paying with debit card and credit card was not accepted; hence I'm updating my review accordingly. I did my PCR test there on Monday morning at 9am. The doctor did inform me that the result takes between 24-48 hours to return. Normally arrives around 32-35 hours mark. My flight is on Wednesday 8:10am fly out of Toronto. I asked when will my sample be sent to the lab, the doctor told me it'll be send out at 4:30pm. This is the part that ticks me off, because my test sample simply sits in the clinic from 9:30am to 4:30pm for nothing, and you dare to charge me $179 for this kind of service? Fine, comes to the payment, sorry, we only accept debit car or cash Which they had it in the agreement that I have to sign upon doing the test, this is 47 hours prior my departure AND I've heard in the clinic myself that they're refusing any appointments before new years. Do I have a choice at the clinic at that moment? Now it's Tuesday evening 8pm where I'm sitting at Toronto airport and refreshing my cell phone screen every second. Nothing comes up, clinic is now closed for business, and I'm sitting there dangling and being afraid that if the result would actually don't show up the next morning. So I decide I'm gonna make my own assurance and go get an antigen test at Toronto airport to be safe about my flight the next day to the USA, because it was only a transfer, my final destination is to Taiwan. About 10 mins after I did my antigen test I got my PCR results. Phew, thank God it did arrived. But I still decided to give you a 1 star. Because I don't think this kind of service deserve $179. In the result email it indicated the result had been in circulation since Tuesday 2pm; however, it didn't land to my inbox until 10:47pm. For that reason, I don't think the service deserve $179. Other than that, the doctor was nice and professional.
Do not go here for PCR testing for travel unless you have much greater than a 48 hr window for taking the test. I booked an appointment for 9 am on Thursday for an 8 am Saturday flight testing within a 48 hr window required, but they changed the appointment to 1 pm on me. It's been 45 hours since 9 am Thursday and 41 hours since the 1 pm appointment and I have not received the email yet. The receptionist even said the tests would get sent to the lab at the same time so I assume results would come at the same time for 9 am and 1 pm tests. I spent 400 dollars to change my flight this morning since I can't board without the results and I can't change my flight within 2 hrs of takeoff, and I will have to go elsewhere to get another PCR test today so I can get results within the new 48 hr window. I knew there is a little risk but I didn't expect it to take the whole 48 hours and even 45 hours would have been doable.
They charged CAD200 even for our 1yo kid per person for immigration exam + we had to go to another medical center to do Xray and blood test CAD55 + CAD65 per person. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEWCOMERS Service was good.
This place is so nice and convenient for COVID PCR test and they give you results in less than 30 hours. Their prices are very affordable than any other place. The staff is very nice and very helpful. they pickup calls and answer each and every question very efficiently and in detail. The staff is so humble and respectful and our overall experience was very good.
Both my daughter and myself are patients of Dr. Abbud and we both love him :- We've had bad experiences with previous doctors but here we feel listened to and cared for. We usually get to see an intern too before we see Dr. Abbud so really, we're getting double the care. He's been great at sending us for referrals to other specialists and does not hesitate to send me for tests when it seems warranted. I went to the walk-in clinic once and the wait wasn't terrible but you do need to get there early. The receptionists are also very kind and competent. As for the pharmacy, they will match the dispensary fee of other places if you ask and they will deliver free to Barrhaven and Nepean. Pharmacist himself is very kind and will answer all questions. I'm quite happy with everything here.
I visited this place on November 27, 2020 to do my IRCC upfront medical and it got submitted Dec 9, 2020. Dr. Saad Abbud is very professional, attentive to details and he knows his job very well plus he works on a timely manner. The ladies at the reception were so professional to me with the smile they gave me whenever I asked a question. Everything went fast. I recommend this place 100% for anyone looking to do their medical exam. Keep up the good work and I promised to share my good experience with all my friends and family. Bravo
Dr. Abbud is a good family doctor. He is very respectful and knowledgeable. He asked me if I want a print out of the prescription or send it to the pharmacy. I like the idea to have the clinic and the pharmacy in the same place, same a lot of time. Highly recommended!!!
Dr. Saad Abbud is a great doctor! He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them . I highly recommend.
