Barrel House

My bacon cheeseburger and chips were pretty good, however I feel they were a bit understaffed for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We had a party of 11 and our food entrees came out one at a time. I was last, and by the time I got my food, almost everyone was done :( I feel they should have anticipated the tourist traffic for the day and had more staff available.

Love this place and it's been a regular family dining place and fun watering hole for years. Owners are very nice and the place is always clean. Prices are comparable for the area and the dining atmosphere is kid friendly. I'd recommend this place to friends and out of town visitors. I like how they've tried to capture local culture in their decorations and theme. The only thing I don't like is when they are busy the waits can get a little long but that's the same anywhere really. Check it out!

Good stop, clean, reliable family type restaurant, lots of neat memorabilia and signs. Soup and sandwich was ok. Peanut butter pie was AMAZING. I'd stop to get the pie. Service was friendly.

What a nice place in the middle of nothing. Did not expect to find a place with good mixed drinks , with great service there. Good time.
