Food was delicious! Driving through town and was a great stop. Little bit if everything on their menu. The cocktails were very fun as well. Kid friendly but also has a bar atmosphereRecommended dishesSouthern Fried Shrimp Tacos
This restaurant pub is such a staple for us. My wife and I have had many dates and celebrated multiple occasions here because of the consistency in a great dining experience. Barr's Public House is a fantastic choice for delicious food, drinks or even a bit of both! They are typically busy in the evenings due to the various specials they provide throughout the week so I recommend making a reservation, which can easily be done online or over the phone. They have outdoor seating parts of the year and 2 different bars inside as well as high top tables, traditional tables, and lounge booths. Service has always been a pleasure for us and we've honestly never been let down. Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: They have multiple dishes that they mark accordingly for special dietary needs Parking: Plenty of parking available in front of out back Dietary restrictions: Menu items show what's cooked in certain oils. They have some gluten-free options as well as non dairy options. Servers seem to be knowledgeable about menu options.
The food was very good, it’s definitely a trendy and unique menu. The atmosphere is super warm and comforting, and the restaurant has local artists’ painting hanging up. The art is switched up every so often. Only docking one star because the service wasn’t the best. However, if you’re looking for a hip place to drink/eat, this is one of the coziest places to be.
Excellent spot for food and drinks. The loaded chips with the balsamic vinegar hits the spot every time. Very nice selection of local and craft beers. Would definitely recommend for date nights or gatherings with friends.
Had reservations but still had to wait 30 minutes... I feel like people just like to loiter around sipping their drinks. I got French Onion soup as a starter. It was pretty good, almost as good as the FO at Easy St. In BG. Main meal was the Fish and Chips special for $22. Very over priced and mediocre honestly. The "chips" or fries rather were soggy and not hot but lukewarm. Fish was okay, again, sort of soggy, maybe it was sitting around? The tarter sauce was very good and I liked all the dill it it. Had a few drinks, felt like they were over priced as well. It's an okay place, but maybe come here during lunch or when they are less busy. I think that may have been the problem, our waiter was a bit overcommitted with patrons. I'll give this place one more try at some point. My wife did like her shrimp tacos. I didn't try they so I can't comment.
The entire experience we had at Barr's Public House was incredible! We got there shortly after they opened on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. The ambience of the interior is awesome and it's a pretty big location. Easy to navigate, large parking lot. There were a ton of clearly marked vegan items and the entire menu itself consisted of all types of dishes. The menus were iPads and my favorite part about them was being able to click on the dish I was interested in and seeing what it was going to look like. Me being me, I want to try everything. Or as close to everything as I can. We tried the white bean hummus as an appetizer which was absolutely phenomenal... two types of the cauliflower bites I preferred the mild sauce to the dry rub... Of course extra sauce on the side and CAJUN FRIES! Holy moly do I love Cajun fries and these were incredible! I ordered the impossible sliders as my main course with a side of brussel sprouts and I tell you.. This entire night was amazing! Pretzel buns are an automatic win for me too. Such a small thing can make a huge difference. They have an incredible cocktail menu and I implore you to stop by Barr's public House if you're in the area! 10 out of 10 from us!!! Vegetarian options: Clearly marked Parking: Easy large parking lot in the strip mall type building
Lovely dinner, friendly staff, good vibes . We had a fabulous French red wine suggested by our server/bartender
We always love our meals at Barr’s but especially love the spicy garlic pickle-tini! The pickle flatbread, their baked and grilled wings and sous vide chicken are a few of our favorites!Recommended dishesAsiago Truffle Fries Sweet Potato Fries, BPH Signature Wings
