Picked up some of the chicken tenders fingers from the deli. At $2 apiece they’re not cheap but convenient and good. This time however every piece was no bigger than half of what they were about 6 weeks ago. Same price but 1/2 serving. This shrinkflation is getting stupid. As a rule I don’t shop at independent as it’s way overpriced. One more reason not to.
Not bad, an independent for the most part is an independent. Clean and taking care of, friendly staff. Although some of the prices were confusing. It is less expensive to buy the smaller packs of detergent by unit than the bulk. It is always the other way around. You're saving money by getting two of the smalls rather than one of the large and yes two of the smalls has more than one of the garage ones.
I was in your store yesterday at 8:45am and had dubble scanned my salad I was able to remove one, and continued scanning my fruit snack and whet to cash out it told me to wait for assistance, an employee passed by and told me she would get someone for me so I waited, for about 5 minutes I needed to get to work for 9 am so I left the machine and went to the courtesy cash where their was 3 employees chatting, I said I'm sorry to bother yous but can I get so help please, one of the ladies said some people need to have patiance, I then said I'm sorry I interrupted yous but I need to get to work , she still said we need to have patients she was not at all happy to help me, this is not the first time I've had a bad experience I should have just walked out and not bothered with what I got for lunch, I to work in customer service and I would never treat anyone like they were a bother. unfortunately I will not be returning. I hope your store see improvement in the future.
I enjoy shopping here. Variety and produce is always good. Staff are friendly. It'd be 5 stars if they had reverted to 50% off on reduced goods instead of BEING GREEDY and sticking with the new 30% off.
Love to stop here on the way to Ottawa. Always friendly staff and great fresh food.
