It was our first time visiting Whistler and we were craving some Thai food. Heard good reviews about this place and booked our reservation. The atmosphere and ambiance in the restaurant was good. Not a lot of tables, so seating is limited. The service was great here. They were efficient, kind and we enjoyed conversing with them. Our food was amazing. The vegetarian spring rolls and pad Thai were really good. The aroma is incredible. Portion sizes were great and our food didn’t take long to come out. Definitely would recommend this place and will be coming back!
One of the best Thai restaurant that I have been to in BC so far! The food was great, some were better than the others. I ordered the following: 1. Prawn pad thai 2. Eggplant & chicken green curry 3. prawn & squid stir-fry / Jasmine rice 4. Thai iced tea Pad thai is one of the most basic Thai dish, so you would expect it to be good, but it was not as good as I hoped or what I had in Thailand, as the noodles are slightly thinner than typical pad thai noodles, and noodles were somewhat overcooked 3/5 Green curry was pretty decent, but it was also not the favorite maybe because I havent consumed Thai-style curry too often yet 4/5. Prawn & squid stir-fry was one of the specialty dishes, and it was the best! Very unique & delicious, and I would definitely get this again if I do re-visit. Homemade thai iced tea was very good. Thought somewhat expensive $7.5 for 355ml bottle?, the taste of tea was still quite strong, but just sweet enough for enjoyment! I could just go grab a bottle by itself if I get a chance, as it is such a busy restaurant. The staff were friendly, but it is way to busy to talk to them. I was hoping to talk to the Thai owners who were just going at the dishes in the open-style kitchen about their reataurant & food, but they were just too busy. There are only 4 tables, and it's a nightmare to trying make a reservation, and it would take quite some time even for a take-out. Dining-in wasnt the most pleasant experience on a hot day without an A/C, but it made me nostalgic about eating street food in Bangkok. I would definitely visit again! p.s. please see the photos for information on when/how to make a reservation & order a take-out.
Food was fantastic. Great flavors, great variety. Very limited seating so plan ahead by reserving online or taking away. We had the green curry with chicken and the veggie stir fry. Green curry was plenty hot as is and the flavor was wonderful without too much fish sauce flavor. Veggie stir fry was also great. Flavors of garlic, soy, and chicken broth. Highly recommend this casual dining spot.
This is my new fave Thai resto. It’s small, only 4 tables I think, so I noticed most people getting takeout when I had reserved a table. I really loved their beef short ribs and a May special for pork balls and noodles. Also came back the next day for Pad Thai and a Daikon dish, both were so delicious. Service is so friendly as well. It’s a little pricey, what helps is each plate could be had for 2 people though. I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in Whistler.
Loved it!! Came for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was such a great place with an awesome, chill atmosphere. We booked the table earlier in the week because it’s a small place. The portions were great and they have good vegan options. A new favourite place in whistler :Food: 5/5
Great place for Thai food in Whistler. Parking can take some time at dinner as there is a camping site next door. Tried Green Curry, which was delicious. Price is more expensive than Vancouver, but fair for Whistler. They deserve a 5 star Food: 5/5
The food is excellent. Price is fair. The server was nice. The only thing is that not many seats are provided. We have to be seated on the patio with strong wind. Vegetarian options: Mix stir fry vegetables
This is such a cool spot - both decor, authenticity, and WOW the best quality food. The chicken satay was truly the best chicken I’ve ever had and the veggie pad Thai was to die for. Beautiful spot near some cabins too!Food: 5/5
Great food! Would highly recommend grabbing this for dinner. We did take out and were a bit hesitant based on the price however the portion sizes were very generous! We had the Beef Massaman and Prawn Pad Thai. We did order a side Jasmin Rice and it was a great size as well. Don't be weirded out that your GPS brings you into a campground, the food is well worth it!
Barn Nork was incredible to say the least. The owners were all very lovely people who really know what they are doing! We had delicious dishes starting with spring rolls, then shared Green Curry and Chicken Pad Thai... flavours literally out of this world! We were so happily full but couldn't say no to Mango Sticky Rice and it also did not disappoint. Barn Nork truly provides a perfect intimate and cozy atmosphere, we are from Ontario and already planning a trip back!
