The fish fry was very good. It was plenty of food. I would replace the high top tables with regular tables. It's very uncomfortable to sit with your legs dangling and no where to rest your feet in front of you.Food: 5/5

Where do the people with positive reviews went to?? No here ! Hamburger: just the bun and the meat, nothing else at all! And the place looks old and could use a good deep cleaning, look at the hanging small lights and the ceiling…won’t be back
Bark river was kind enough to let us use the bar for a party, brought in our own food! Great bar
Great food & moderate prices, I enjoyed the cold tap beer. Establishment has multiple sanitizer stations the tables were strategically positioned for social distance. Very friendly staff, restroom was clean and well maintained.
We found this place after my son’s baseball game. Amazing evening. The food was delicious, and our waitress was outstanding!!! She doted on our 3yr old like he was her own. We live in New Berlin, but have decided after tonight, that this is our new favorite for a fish fry!!! It was honestly incredible. IF I had to ask for anything, I’d only ask for a better beer menu. It was pretty sparse... but that’s minimal- I got a mixed drink instead! Lol...
Went for fish fry. The place is your normal neighborhood bar and grill. Lots of locals and friendly. No yachts and not even any water. Nice selection including fried cod, baked cod, blue gill, walleye and shrimp. Between 5 of us we tried the fried cod and shrimp and combinations of the 2 All were cooked well and tasty. The tartar sauce was good and the shrimp sauce has a nice bite. They started us with creamy cole slaw, marble rye bread and wonderful German potato salad. I would go back just for that potato salad. Dinner came with choice of potato including pancakes, Fries and baked potato. We all enjoyed the potato pancakes which were crispy on the outside and yummy on the inside. They were served with apple sauce and/or syrup. The service was exceptional.
We were very impressed...went on a Friday fish fry night. Food was excellent and plentiful. Wait staff was friendly making the evening very pleasant. Owner stopped by to ensure everything was to our liking. Will be visiting the Bark River Yacht Club again very soon.
We had a fish fry at Bark River Yacht Club Friday evening, January 19, 2018. The fish was great we especially liked the shrimp. It was a relaxed, friendly place. We were seated and served quickly and the food was both tasty and hot. This is a very nice little tavern serving cold drinks, hot food, and friendly service. Give it a try if you are in Western Waukesha County.
