My groomer retired without giving me any warning. I was looking for a new groomer in the area, I found 2 groomers, including Bark Hill. MEC is old & and has anxiety issues, I want to make sure that the groomer would fit with MEC and vice versa. There was confusion with dates & times with the first groomer, which never happened, so I called Bark Hill to confirm the date & time as she was the other groomer that I booked with. I was honest to Johanne explaining the situation, and that is where Johanne gave me a speech of " being insulted, betrayed, and played by me. " Because I booked with another groomer and hers... I did not like being judged like that for trying to find the best fit for my old guy. Our short conversation actually brought me to tears at the end. Bark Hill is maybe good with dogs, but I think the owner's Johanne human/customer interaction & communication skills can be better. I really don't think it is a crime to find the best match for my old MEC... if I don't try, how can I know which is best for my old 80lb dog... Sorry for this review, I wished our conversation would have gone better even without the possibility of booking with you...
