Bardens Bar has been a fixture on State Street in Waseca for over 85 years. It has one of the oldest bars (since 1937) in south central Minnesota. Come to Bardens for it's competitve drink prices and its good people.
Established in 1937 by Joe and Walt Barden, Bardens Bar and Liquor Store replaced the Security State Bank of Waseca. In 1965 Richard Wendland and Richard Hayes partnered up and bought the bar. A couple years after Richard (Ivory Dick) bought out his partner. His wife Diane and he ran the business until 2003 when their son Shane purchased it.
