We went to this place on a Wednesday afternoon when it was not very crowded and it was quite easy to find a table. The staff is friendly, polite and well trained. The place is clean and nicely decorated, and the kitchen is open, you can practically see the whole process of cooking. The dishes ordered were tasty. The brownie was interesting, but the salty ice cream with which it is served was not to my taste. Another plus is that you can give tips by card. Overall it was a pleasant experience that I would love to repetat.
This was an amazing experience. Absolutely everything was spot on perfect. Flavour, taste, texture, colour, temperature, portion size. Just right. Loved it and will be definitely coming back. I can only recommend and don't forget to make reservations.
Great restaurant perched on the fisherman hill in Budapest near the Buda Castle district.. walking distance from fantastic views of the city Service was very quick and nice...servers were timely and spoke great English. Food was fantastic. Well made and presented. Price was on the higher side for Budapest but reasonable for the caliber of restaurant.
Food is excellent, not expensive at all. It was expected, but prices are fair. Staff speaks English perfectly and very helpful. Hi quality ingredients, presentation if some cares about that is great as well. Place is very interesting.
I think it is more about the name. I ordered pasta which had leeks and when I said I can’t eat onion or anything related, the manager talked to me from a very superior position. They changed my food after a long talk but I was surprised that almost everything is with leeks or onion at every Jamie restaurant. The food was ok, the lemonade was average, nothing special.
It was a classic and unique experience. I had squid fries as the starter, a pizza "jacluine", and also had a brownie for desert. All was fantastic. The place was quite busy but the staff was nice and kind, like even they were not overwhelmed with this aliveness. Looking forward going back.Food: 5/5
The local looks really good and has a cozy feeling But the food is mediocre. It has a really basic taste. I would suggest coming here for a cute experience, but do not expect an amazing taste.
Amazing amazing amazing!!!!! It’s a little bit far from the center but as a tourist you’re going to see the fishermen bastion either way so go to this restaurant on the way! I recommend the truffle pasta ,garlic bread, pumpkin risotto so unique and good , the cesar salad comes with cauliflower and hazelnut and for dessert you have to take the Bombay brownie it’s heavenly!!! It’s melting in your mouth ! It comes with salted Carmel ice cream and Caramelized popcorn!
Pros: tasty food, superb location, nice interior. Cons: expensive. The staff were really nice and friendly but they must have been newbies. Some appetizer items were served twice, the coffee was served before dessert and the salt never arrived.
Had a wonderful, delicious dinner here. Pasta is made fresh daily, the Bolognese sauce was excellent, salads with lemony yogurt dressing was yummy, tomato soup was really good, and the garlic buns make for an excellent start to a meal. Service was good considering that one waitress was handling almost the entire room along with having to bus here tables. One of the best meals we had in Budapest.
