This ice cream is 100% a must have! They have such interesting and unique flavours but nothing wild and odd and the names are so enticing! They have a pretty good selection of vegan ice cream too which was great! It is coconut based so if you’re vegan but not a coconut fan you might not like it. The scoops are MASSIVE and they are so generous. We got waffle cones and the one scoop was more like 2 and the 2 scoops is more like 3 because they fill the cone with ice cream too. Def worth the money for sure! If you’re in Chilliwack go to Banter please do yourself a favour, get the ice cream!!
Very nice staff and nice creamy scoops of ice cream. Waffle cones are so very delicious and made in house. Cold Brew Coffee - 8/10 not as sweet as I expected and it has some coffee flavoured grinds in it which was unexpected. Would probably be enjoyed by true coffee lovers who don't have tons of sugar in their coffee haha Sea Salt Caramel - 10/10 very creamy and perfect ribbons of sweet caramel throughout. The coffee and caramel scoop combo was great! My friend had the malt cookie dough which she enjoyed.
Great customer service and lots of options. It's unfortunate they don't let you taste flavors before buying. Was excited to go here for the first time and got a double scoop with 2 flavors. One I loved, the other I couldn't eat and had to throw away. If I had been able to sample it, I would've avoided wasting my money on the second flavor. May go back if I want the one flavor but hesitant on trying new stuff and not liking it and end up wasting more money
A new ice cream shop it is located to catch vacationers coming home from Cultis Lake. At busy traffic times it will be hard to park as parking is limited. Good news is that it is open late. The ice cream is delicious and home made waffle cones are yummy. Flavours are unique and not the run of the mill.although I'd still like to see peanut butter and chocolate
We had Melted Chocolate and Earl Grey. Both are equally flavourful. Love the location with Chilliwack River view. Always a relaxing time whenever we get ice cream at Banter.
So excited to finally have Banter in Chilliwack! I was able to attend the soft opening and it kinda felt like they have always been open here. Great looking space, worthy of all the praise to come!Love their Ice cream and love the atmosphere here! Such a nice addition to the community. Banter has the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The texture is like no other ice cream. It’s silky smooth and the flavours are on point and out of this world. Not your traditional flavours but they do have some family favs like chocolate and cookie dough. But for the more adventurous they have flavours like blackberry chèvre and blueberry basil.
this is the best ice cream place i have ever been to. this is their second location other location is in abbotsford, and their ice cream never disappoints. it’s very high quality, creamy, and fresh. the flavours are unique and something you’ve never tried, but there’s something there for everyone. a handful of flavours change monthly too so there’s always something new to try!! staff is always really kind. expect long waits on nice days/weekends, but to be expected when it’s warm! you can also grab pints of your favourite flavours. they also offer dairy free free ice cream, and a dairy free/gluten free waffle cone.
So happy to welcome Banter in Chilliwack! Tried it in Abbotsford and couldn’t wait! Delicious ice cream! As soon as you enter the store, the mouth-watering smell of freshly made comes hit your nose, love it! The space is modern, brand new, very cool. Also, love that they open late. Parking can be very tight, unfortunately, as the whole plaza is so popular, but they have the underground parking which I haven’t used yet. We’ve tried blackberry and marble cookie dough flavours.
First time here. Very busy and not a ton of room inside the shop but clearly for a good reason. The ice cream is fresh and tastes great! Lots of unique flavours to pick from and they don’t skimp on the servings. Parking is great too, they have an underground garage area along with the outside parking lot. Will be back and would recommend.
