Bank of America Financial Center

Extremely unimpressed. The inconsistency and inconvenience associated with their support has been very frustrating. As an example; my husband and I went in to have him added to my debit account, and were told it couldn't happen. A week later, he endorsed a check over to me, but they said they wouldn't accept it unless he was present, as he wasn't on the account. When I communicated my displeasure (as my understanding is that an endorsed check should be acceptable, and we live a distance from the bank making the transit difficult), they then said he could in fact be added to my account, with no explanation on why we had been previously informed otherwise. Now we need to travel back to the bank a third time to complete a simple transaction. This kind of service is unacceptable.

People running it are dishonest. I have closed the same account with them three times, and they have reopened it without telling me thee times and tried to charge me service fees for it. You're better off burning your money to heat your house then you are going to these guys. 0/5. Would not recommend

The experiences I have with this bank have been bad. Not just bad. Every visit has been terrible,atrocious, dreadful, godawful, etc. There is never enough tellers to handle the line of people. I always have 6 people or so in line infront of me and it's a 20 minute wait typically. Also the bank manager sends tellers to lunch or home in the middle of he day while a half dozen people are still waiting and that doesn't include the drive through. The manager doesn't even hop on a station when there is a half dozen people lined up and waiting!!!!!!!!!!! All I hear is disgruntled customers waiting in line when I am there........ Plus I get a random guy in a suit trying to up sell the bank and get me into credit cards and checking accounts when he could be useful and WORK A TELLER STATION!! ALSO THE TELLERS RARELY GET THE CHANGE I WANT BACK CORRECT THE FIRST TIME THEY HAND IT BACK!!!!! THE TELLERS ALSO COMPLAIN ABOUT COUNTING CHANGE AMD LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY. They have a problem about having enough small bills on hand to make change as well... YOU HAVE ONE BASIC FUNCTION AS A BANK: TO INVENTORY AND SAFELY STORE MONEY AND TO GIVE BACK SMALLER DENOMINATIONS OF MONEY!!!! YOUR BRUNSWICK LOCATION FAILS AT BOTH OF THESE FUNCTIONS!!!!! JOHN DILLINGER AND BABY FACE NELSON WOULDNT EVEN BOTHER ROBBING THIS LOCATION IF IT EXISTED IN THE 30s BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE THEM THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY DEMAND. THERE WOULDNT EVEN BE STAFF ON HAND TO DEMAND THE MONEY FROM!!! Thank you for your time please fix this bank. Step 1 teach the tellers how to count and keep enough change on hand to run a bank. Step 2 don't send the tellers home in the middle of the day. Step 3 get the guys in suits to stop talking up the bank while there are a dozen people waiting in line having a morose experience. If my workplace didn't use your bank on main st in brunswick Maine I would never step foot in the building again. I also never recommend Bank of America to anyone. Thank you and good day -iphone777-
