Small family business that really focus on fresh ingredients. The freshness is immediately noticeable as the chicken in dishes is always soft and tender, their veggies crisp, their fish moist. Never had a bad dish here even once.
Here is a hidden gem for Thai food lovers in Langley! You will taste well balanced and careful seasoning dishes here. Personally, this small kitchen is better than Ban Chok Dee.
This is an average Thai restaurant in Langley Twp. The dishes are more of a Thai-Western fusion as you can see from the photo below for the Pad Kee Mao. The food is fllling and you will get your money's worth in portion. I can't give it any more than an average eating though as it doesn't do much to stand out.
The flavour was awesome! One of my favourite meals ever. I wasn't expecting it after reading all the reviews. My wife and I travel all over Canada and try the Thai restaurant when we're in these places. This restaurant gave me a meal that is second to none. I ordered the Pad Gra-Prow luncheon special with spice level 4 out of 5. I could still taste the fresh vegetables. The waitress was very polite and humble. She returned with the food in record time. They're ready for the lunch crowd I guess. She did take a while to clear our table and bring the bill. My wife really enjoyed her Pad Thai also. She ordered 3 out of 5 spice. She would give this place a 4 out of 5. I'd be back if we lived here!
Had a great meal here tonight. Simple, Pad Thai and spring rolls. Food was fresh and flavourful and good quality. The owner-chef and our server were really sweet and friendly. Ordered my food at 3 on a scale of 1-5 for heat, and it was pretty spicy, just perfect for me. Will go back to try some other dishes!
Best authentic Thai restaurant in the area in my opinion! My wife and I love it! The food is incredible, has great flavour and is always fresh. I recommend the green curry - it brings me right back to Thailand! The staff are friendly, quick and very personable! Highly recommend this restaurant to both Thai food lovers and anyone new to this amazing cuisine.
Depends what you order. Not authentic Thai in my opinion, getting something simple will probably be great but I was craving and got the Tom yum and it was chicken soup. So disappointing no lemongrass no flavour bland. Maybe pad Thai is fine? My friends like their food and that’s what they got. I like supporting non chains and the people are nice, wait times a bit on the long side probably due to delivery orders - we were the only ones in the restaurant. I would go somewhere else before returning.
Fantastic little Thai place, Owners clearly care about their dishes as they are all amazing. Don't expect fast service from a mom and pop shop like this. They cook everything from scratch when you order it. If you started to cook your own meal it wouldn't take 10 minutes so expect at least 30 minutes for the food. Minor warning; The classic, that everyone going to thai orders is, Pad Thai; this one dish tastes very different from other Thai places and isn't really my style.
Great lunch specials, and really nice staff. We often order from here for lunches at work group of 8-10 of us. They're really great about packing everything up, and labeling it all. The food is delicious... only think I wish for is a yellow curry option, but the green is amazing anyway so that's my usual go-to.
The service was very poor. I eat out in Vancouver regularly and this is one of the worst experiences I've had for service. Upon arrival the restaurant was only half full and we had to wait about 3-5 minutes before we was acknowledged and seated. Then we was informed by the waiter who was a young teenager looking about 12-14 years old that they didn't have enough menus to go around our table and had to share 1 menu between 4 people. It took another 15 minutes before he returned and asked for our order. Another 55 minutes past and our first dish arrived, a main pad thai dish, 2-3 minutes later a starter of chicken satay arrived. 5 minutes after that the waiter approached our table to inform me that a main that was ordered as a beef dish couldn't be made as they had no beef left! So that meal arrived just as everyone else was finishing there meal. We sat for 20 minutes after all meals were consumed with no one clearing our table. We was never asked how our meal was or if we wanted drinks. It's a shame because the food was ok, nothing special but the price reflected that. People coming in for takeaway was waiting about 45 minutes despite me hearing them say they rang to order 30 minutes before they arrived to collect. I would steer clear of this restaurant if you want decent food and decent service!!
