I absolutely love Banff it is our get away and recharge place. Our family come here a couple times a year and always have a positive experience. Not to mention the fact they are super pet friendly so take your dogs with you they will have a blast.
The sign is very easy to spot, guiding visitors directly to the location, though it's unfortunate that there are no nearby parking spots available. Banff, the charming little town, is undeniably beautiful, with its picturesque streets and stunning natural surroundings. However, as time passes, it's becoming increasingly commercialized, which somewhat detracts from its original, quaint appeal. While the town still retains much of its natural beauty and charm, one can't help but notice how the growing number of businesses and developments are starting to change the atmosphere, making it feel less like a serene retreat and more like a busy tourist hub. Still, it remains a lovely destination, but it’s hard to ignore how much it has evolved in recent years.
A very popular place for a nice picture. 5 min parking available across the street. Sometimes is gets quite busy but there are moments where there are less people during a weekday before tourism picks up for the summer
A pretty place where the name of the town is well cut against the forest background. It makes a good memory of a visit to these places. The sign is not far from the station where there is a parking lot. Generally not too many people on this site but if you visit on weekends, there is a wait of around 10-20 minutes. We went on a weekend and there was traffic right there on the spot. I heard that they will be moving the sign for safety of the people.
This place was really up to its hype. I was born in Nepal and the mountains and tracking is in my blood, I didn't expect to have a similar thrill here at this scenic location.
