Nice Halal Chinese place. The dishes are tasty. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. It was quick and although we went almost at the closing time they were ready to serve us diligently. The place has a medium sized seating area and the place is clean as well. My group like the food and will come here again. The noodles tasted good and the currys were the best.
In terms of food, this is a disaster.. the reviews made me come to this place which is quite far from home. I dont know whether the chef has changed or what but the food was not upto the mark. We ordered fried rice, machurian beef and hakka noodles. Nothing was good sadly. I would never recommend it to anyone. I would rather go to eddie’s wok n roll. Its way much better. In terms of service, yes they make guest comfortable and they even changed the dish which i didn't like.Thank you for that. But i would rather worry about the food eaten than service being satisfactory. Overall, I am not coming back!!
Very few hakka Chinese restaurants don't serve alcoholic drinks, and thankfully, this is one. Even many "Halal" Hakka Chinese restaurants serve alcohol due to which I avoid them. Nice ambiance, good food - though a bit on the salty side Chicken Lollipop and Shrimp were good
They made it to 4 out of 5. The service was the winner. Taste is different in a good way. 3 out 4 pax don’t wanna come back. According to them it was good for one time.Food: 4/5
Incredibly tasty food, finally had some spicy treat to our desi tongues! We had the tandoori fried rice and the shezwan noodles with some chili garlic chicken, all kept up to their prices, left with a happy tummy and heart. The staff were very sweet and polite, and made sure our feedbacks felt considered! Kudos! Good ambience too. Will be visiting back again for sure, a must try for spicy food lovers!
How possibly does this restaurant feel it ok to serve the same gravy for 2 totally different dishes? Who does that! Too much food colour. Salty noodles. Thankfully they didn’t make the kulfi so that was good. Nice modern decor, clean, polite customer service, food was served quickly. But all this is effort wasted serving tasteless food. Priced cheap and maybe that’s why food failed … we got what we paid for!
Was really looking forward to trying this Hakka place after seeing it all over social media. We ordered the Hakka noodles and sweet and sour chicken for takeout. After getting home we realized the sweet and sour chicken did not taste right, the sauce had gone bad. We went back an hour later and asked for a refund. Initially the employee said she can’t do a refund but she can make us a different dish, but it was late so we insisted on a refund and then they gave it. Sadly won’t be coming back here again.
The menu was short and crisp definitely good items on it. Honey Gelic fries were good and Ofcourse I came for the steamed veggie momos which were the best I absolutely loved them without a doubt. Customer service was really good!! Both the girls were awesome, friendly, sharp and straight about the menu and very helpful. I didn’t love the manchow soup, felt it was a little to dark for its colour and lacked any kind of spice in it. Except that everything was awesome!!!
We went here for lunch on a Monday afternoon, on May 29, 2023. I heard good things about Bam Bam Bou house, but I was completely disappointed. We ordered a few different dishes, Bombay chicken and chilli garlic fish and unfortunately both were cooked exactly the same way and had the same taste. Both were full of tamarind sauce and full of gravy and very little chicken or fish. The food also was overly salty for some reason. I've been to a few different Hakka places and that's not how you make Bombay chicken or garlic fish. The portion size of all dishes was quite small and not even enough for 1 person, especially the shrimp appetizer we ordered. Other Hakka places give you massive portions, but this was another drawback. Overall, all 4 of our friends were disappointed by the overall taste and small portion sizes. The restaurant was nice and clean and our server was good. But I won't be going back here. 2/5 - not recommended.
So fortunate to be invited to this Hakka -Chinese Cuisine restaurant by one of the best food vlogger in Mississauga Taste of Mississauga! This location is located at Latimer Drove and you should visit them! Ambiance is 5/5,you will feel the oriental vibe inside and the color scheme is very nice . Service is 5/5 ,the server took the time to explain the dishes and even offered their best sellers. Staff have a very accommodating presence and is willing to help . Food is 5/5, the sweet and sour chicken just have the right flavour to it and the Manchurian noodles is very tasty !
