Became my home course real quick staff are excellent, only complaints are no ball cleaners, and no rakes to clean traps... been caught in footprints on edges of bunker a few times. Doug Carrick design great course don't know why it's not higher rated in ontario. Friends from markham have gladly switched to playing here.
Lovely Florida style seniors community built around a great golf course. The course is kept in great condition, a number of holes with tabletop greens, that run fast and true. The property also has a community center with tennis courts.
Best public course for the price and condition it is kept in. Tough greens thanks to Doug Carrick design. It has become our home course.
Great conditions. Great staff. I was a single and there was no hassle in sending me out on my own. The groups ahead were very accommodating in letting me play through. Nothing negative to say about this course and usually I find something to complain about in a course.
Living in this community and being able to play here daily is outstanding. The course is managed and maintained as if it were an exclusive private club. Doug Carrick raised green complex’s require being able to come in high w spin to hold. GM John and MNGR Tanya run a well oiled operation. Greens are always great. Avg pace of play is realistically at least 4:30.
Great course!! The fairways and greens are in amazing shape. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Recommend Ballantrae to any level of golfer.
Wow. Just wow. I had wanted to play this course for years but just didn't make sense based on the fees. Also felt strange as my grandparents live here. Just played an evening nine for about 50 bucks and it was gorgeous, quiet and very relaxed. Service staff and cart girl were on point. Food was delicious. Please stick around this mentality. This how you run a golf course. Hospitality 101. Loved it.
Excellent condition of fairways and greens; even during the fall season. Interesting course layout and greens as well. Definitely recommend more friends to visit the golf course again.
What a great golf course! Enjoyed my round today. Those greens are lightening quick. It took me about 6 holes to figure the speed out. All the ranges are open, so you can warm up prior to your game. We'll be back!
Great Championship course. If you live in this Condo Community you are blessed with a great golf facility. Public golfers are welcome. My wife and I enjoyed our round. Challenging course!
