Fairly priced with reasonable portion of food. The Cevapcici made from minced meat was very chewy and juicy , made me curious what’s the secret recipe. It took a bit long for the food to come even though the restaurant was not full, perhaps the owners shall work on it, other than this, everything was perfect. Oh right, maybe to prepare some English menus too, there were some French buddies sitting next desk and asked if they can have English menu but unfortunately there is none so it took quite a long while for them to figure out what they would like to order.
Recently tried Balkan Deli with some friends for dinner. It is located in Rotterdam in the heart of Delfshaven directly at Westzeedijk. The restaurant offers places inside and outside. I really love the atmosphere. The menue offers a variation of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I chose a dish with meat and took the one of the suggested specials. Overall it was very nice experience and the food very authentic!
Genuine Balkan food, fantastic atmosphere and excellent service. On top all, very friendly prices. Four hefty portions of food, andnlot of drunks, plus coffies. And all that for 124 euros. Bargain. Strongly reccommanded.
Great food, great service and really affordable. All included and including the given tip we spend 35 euro a person. Served with some housewine. The food was really enjoyable. The host was really friendly and gave good advice on the desert a small glass of booze with a beer.
Absolutely amazing place to have lunch and drinks. Food was very good! I ordered goulash which was really nice. Will definitely be returning.

I invited my international friends to try Balkan food and not just they weren't disappointed, they enjoyed it... We came from Amsterdam just to eat here and it was worth every cent... but I have to be honest, if food was 8/10, hospitality and service are 13/10 and cause of that we gonna definitely come back here soon.
Good price for good food. Nice furniture and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again
