Stopped in here randomly after a day of biking along the river and what a good decision that was! The wait staff were all extremely friendly and attentive, everything we ate was amazing. The scallops were one of those "F$@& Me, This Is Good!" moments. Looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu.
Burgers were delicious. And that old western decor..... very nice. Cool story behind the lady in the art adorning the walls. The staff seem knowledgeable in regards to the buildings' history. I was pleased, will return again.
If I get a chance I stop in at Baldwin Saloon and Get the Crab Melt Sandwich. Big hunks of Dungeness crab that does not come from a can. I don't know where they get it but it is killer, hand-cut french fries need I say more this place is incredible!
My heart is hurting. I loved the Baldwin Saloon. My heart goes out to Mark, his family, friends, and excellent staff. Thank you for wonderful meals over the years. You will be missed.
Great friendly staff, yummy gourmet food, great drinks!
Greeted warmly and seated promptly on the outside deck by manager, who was attentive and knowledgeable. Had the shrimp and crab avocado, which was so loaded with seafood and veggies it was hard to find the avocado! Wow! Lovely experience.
Every time I've been here, the food AND service have been excellent. I love the atmosphere, food and the overall experience of this establishment, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to or through this portion of the Columbia River Gorge.
