Great place with comfy, clean rooms. Bed is super cozy and bathroom has everything we needed & more. A quiet location with an amazing yard. The breakfast was a lovely start to the day with amazing breakfast treats quickly served so we could catch our plane. This was appreciated in a town that wasn't awake early on a Sunday and no options for breakfast other than Timmy's. Thank you to the helpful, friendly hosts for a lovely stay in Nova Scotia.
We had a lovely stay with Glenda and Dan. Our room was spectacularly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We had great conversation with our hosts. I wish we had planned to stay longer!Rooms: 5/5

I recently stayed at the Baker’s Chest and had a fabulous visit! The accommodations are beautiful, Glenda’s homemade pastries and preserves are delicious especially the croissants, and the Loneys make you feel like family. I can't wait to stay again!
The Baker’s Chest Bed and Breakfast was simply spectacular!! Amazing room with a beautiful garden view.. most comfortable bedroom with a claw foot tub … breakfast croissant and parfait were perfection Glenda and Dan are the most gracious of hosts.. thank you Barbara Boag
Our stay at Bakers Chest B&B in Bible Hill NS was a very pleasant one. Glenda and Dan made our stay the best, with our room so clean and welcoming with robe and slippers and a very comfortable bed and with our room air conditioned it was very comfortable. Now the breakfast, it was 5 STAR with homemade everything from Glenda’s kitchen with delicious fresh berry yoghurt cup to start, and fresh bagels, croissants and banana bread to accompany coffee, juice and the most exquisite Eggs Benny ever. When you are in the Truro area I do suggest you choose Bakers Chest B& B in Bible Hill for your stay. You will not be disappointed!!! We had a fabulous stay. Thank you Glenda and Dan for making our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebration so Special !!

I have stayed at a lot of B&Bs over my life I'm CEO of a travel company and can absolutely endorse Baker's Chest as a first rate establishment. Maarten and Nelly are outstanding hosts and make every effort to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. For example, upon discovering that I am of Dutch heritage like they are, they modified the breakfast menu to include some favorite dutch pancakes. I was delighted! The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained. I loved the fact it was slightly out of town and provided an idyllic country setting. Driving into town for dinner and sightseeing took less than five minutes, so we got the best of both worlds. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was exquisite and we slept very well.
The hosts, Glenda and Dan, made this an especially memorable stay for us. Excellent crepe and other sides for a satisfying breakfast.Rooms: 4/5
