Our New Year’s pretzel from Bake Erie was absolutely spectacular! We got it fresh out of the oven and it was so fresh and delicious. The texture was impeccable & it was one of my favorite elements of our vast New Year’s Eve spread!
As a Sandusky native who travels from Columbus 1-2x/month, we regret not stopping in sooner than last month. We got one of everything and not a single disappointment. The posts during the week when we can't go are torture. Small friendly business with beyond tasty treats. Love that the selection is always different with both standard and unique options!
Delightful bakery inside the Marketplace at Cooke in downtown Sandusky. They offer many different treats to choose from and even have gluten free options that they also sell at another local business, The Maca Root. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They are also very helpful in explaining what ingredients go into each items for those with a type of food allergy. Cute little seating area inside for those that want to eat their goodies right there. Definitely check them out if you are in the area.
Small family run business and you can tell. The service was very warm, welcoming and personal. Liz is an awesome owner. Went in for a few cookies and left with a bag treats. Lol They were amazing. Perfect amount of sweet
Absolutely wonderful experience! I purchased 2 dozen cupcakes, 2 dozen specialty cookies, & a tray of brownies for a party. Everything was amazing! Our friends & family couldn't stop talking about the desserts. I will definitely be purchasing any & all desserts for parties from Bake Erie again!
Liz really knows her way around baking! I’m not sure how she does it but it’s amazing, I really believe they are the best bakery in town. I come to them for all my sweet tooth cravings and events and I suggest you all do too! Thanks again Bake Erie for making my visit special every time! I love y’all!
Thoroughly impressed with the customer service and dedication to customers. No matter how busy, Bake Erie always tries to fulfill every request we have had. My company even reached out to her to fulfill a 300 cutout cookie order for all our employees and she made it happen within days notice.
A little out of the way in a market place, Arcade type of setting, but you will not be disappointed. Enjoy Sandusky history with pictures and stories in a museum fashion down the hall with your sweet treat, then stop back by for one for the road .Liz may be the best baker in the area

Went in a few days before Easter and asked if she had time to make me a cake before my boyfriends birthday that happened to fall on Easter. She said that she would but it wouldn't be ready till Saturday night. She took my order. I paid for the cake. She took my number and said it would be ready between five and seven. She would call me when it was ready. Never heard anything. Tried to get ahold of her on Facebook. Tried to call. Eventually just called my bank and disputed my charge and got my money back. Bummed that my first experience ended like this. I heard nothing but great things about Bake Erie.
