Baja Burger Shack

Oh man this place was SO fire. Came here after a HUGE bike ride and got served by a beautiful family of three who made me some INSANE burgers and a VERY large quantity of fries. The seating and location is beautiful and the service was fantastic. Definitely will come back and absolutely gorge myself next time I'm here.

They claims vegan burger is with beyond meat. I eat beyond meat every week. It's not beyond meat. It's a cheaper version. Moreover it's less than warm off the grill. Come on give us hot food not lukewarm food. Pina colada with rum. They poured one shot of rum in a blender with Pina stuff. Then poured the cup and disposed of 1/4 remaining in the blender. That means I overpaid for less rum. Add rum to the cup directly will ensure I get full shot of rum I overpaid for. Moreover adult Pina cup is much smaller than non alcoholic version. It doesn't make sense why pay more for smaller cup with 3/4 shot of rum. Fries are decent. It's pretty much what we order every time. Today they sold us hotdogs and fries without telling us they are all out of condiments. Prices are at the higher end.

$15 for a burger combo - burger, fries and a drink! A burger meal was perfect after a day at Britannia Beach. The wait time wasn’t too long, and we found a spot on their patio no problem. The fries were very fresh and hot, and the burger was delicious.

Tasty burgers, clean space, good fries, good price. It would be nice if they have more shades, but that's ok, people come here for the sun:. What was strange is their kids meal, they literally cut burger patties into halves and they call it " kids burgers". Wouldn't be nicer if they just make smaller patties for kids?

A little expensive, but great burgers! I would skip the fries and just get the burger. Cheese/bacon is extra. I love the sauce they use. It’s right by the water so the atmosphere is great.

The food was really good. Burgers totally tasted home made .. these definitely weren't frozen patties. Kid-friendliness: There's a beach next to it so obviously very kid friendly. Parking: Loads of free parking but you need to come early, especially on the weekends.

My visit to the shack was excellent today July 22, 2022. The draft beer was cold and tasty. The burger was generous and cooked to perfection, moist and scrumptious. This is definitely a place to visit repeatedly in the summer. I love the upgrades they made to the sitting area to provide shade and the music gave us a tropical holiday experience. Staff was friendly, prices reasonable. Check it out!! :

We were very impressed with the quality of the food at this little burger shack. We had a Jerk Burger, Fish Tacos, Beef Tacos and Fries. All of the food exceeded our expectations, and we enjoyed eating on the shaded patio with a beautiful view over the beach and waterfront. This restaurant is much better than other most other beach front burger places we have visited before and was a very nice surprise.

Lovely beachside location on the Ottawa River. The menu is what one would expect from a burger shack, and the food is good, though not great. The burgers are well made, fresh, and tasty. The fries are not what one would hope for mine were undercooked and not at all crispy. I'd eat there again in a pinch, but I'd rather just bring a picnic to the beach instead.

Baja burger shack is a great place for family and friends to eat. The food is absolutely amazing and their baja sauce is spectacular. And the staff are all amazing and friendly everyone wears masks. They just added a few amazing additions to their menu such as quesadillas, fish N chips, and chicken tacos! Now I really understand why CTV rates it the best burger in the city!
