Whether you live there or are passing through, this place is a must. Excellent food and the bakery section has a great variety. Establishments like these that have deep roots are hard to come by. I’m not from the area but I’ll be hard pressed to not stop in every I frequent there. My only complaint would be they need to increase their pricing. You may feel as if you’re stealing however the silver lining is it leaves you no excuse to not leave a healthy tip.
They have lovely staff. It is always clean and a pleasant environment but I do notice a lack of quality control. One day you go in and the fries are under cooked the next they are perfect. Portions fluctuate. Little things but very good food and excellent service. Do wish they offered gluten free options.
Stay away. After expressing our displeasure of the food quality to their staff, they promised that the owner would call back the next day to talk about our request for a refund. After a few days, we've decided to write this review. 1 our food was soggy immediately coming off the fryer. 2 the food was incredibly bland 3 the fries are predictably from a food supplier with no special coating or flavour 4 many people speak about how great this place is, but if you have ever had fish and chips before you'll immediately be disappointed. 5 by the owner not calling us back, it speaks to the staff's ability to make a decision and the owners ultimate priorities 6 the best way I could describe this food is if you were to reheat fried seafood the next day in a microwave
The staff is always super friendly , the food is amazing and the desserts are so yummy, u just want one of everything, the chocolate cubes are my all time favorite. Its usually busy around supper time, but well worth the wait
Friendly, curtious staff, always Tasty treats ! So worth the stop!!! Selection is big enough , that after 2 months we have not tried everything yet !Food: 5/5
Friendly service from the staff, and the special was at an excellent deal. You honestly can't beat the prices on the baked goods either. It's definitely worth the stop.
Great food. Fish and chips were amazing. Place was busy but it has a charming retro diner feel. Very popular with the locals. A bakery is also located on site. Definitely a must-do.
LOVE THE FOOD, some servers are better than others. One woman is downright terrible, that and the cramped space are the only reason for 4 stars.Food: 5/5
I had the clams and fries. The clams were excellent. However, the fries were meh! When you’re paying $20 for clams and chips both should be delicious. Please ditch the frozen fries and give your customers the real thing, Hardest chair I have ever set on. No TP, soap or paper towel in the restroom. There are better places to dine.
Orders keep getting smaller everytime ordered the fish & chips and the order of fries were next to nothing. Very long wait times everytime I've been!! Don't recommend
