Nice owner, glad to have more Taiwanese food in the area! The Hainan Chicken Rice is a good portion with free pop and 20% off braised soup. Adding a Braised Egg is always recommended.
This is a new takeout place in the Northtown Way circle and I'm already a big fan. I've tried their braised pork bento, hainan chicken rice, fried chicken wings and soup. They've all been delicious. Portion sizes are very good for the price. Drinks are very good and the woman at the front is friendly.
very delicious Hainanese chicken rice and good portion for the price. It comes with a pop too so it's a pretty solid meal.
Found this new takeout-only bento spot so we went to give it a try. Generally their food was satisfying. The pork knuckle probably their signature? was so tender, flavourful and moderately sweet. From their choice of rice and fresh veggies I can tell they care about details a lot. Reasonable price for this amazing food quality. Keep it up!
I got the boneless hainanese chicken and it was juicy and great! It's a small take-out only kitchen, and the lady that works there speaks Cantonese but not much English. Otherwise, the hainanese chicken was 5/5!
Homemade food with love. First time to try heinan food and new Orlando chicken bento box. I can taste the love from this food
I’d say the food here is more Cantonese style than Taiwanese style. Best to order 20-25 min before pickup during dinner time. They said I could pick up in 15 min but ended up letting me wait for another 10 min. The Hainanese chicken is smooth and tender, however portion is small with only 4 pieces of chicken on a bed of rice all other photos I saw on Google have 6-7 pieces, I don’t know why they gave me so little…. The rice tasted dry for my liking. The New Orleans style chicken chop is very tasty and tender with generous portion of meat. It also comes with a fried egg, broccoli and some corn. I would definitely order this one again.
Strolling down Yonge Street, we came across Baifang Taiwanese Bento , a NEW mini takeout shop in Northtown Way Friendly lady owner greeted us and we found out this shop has been opened for half a year already! It is a popular amongst the students living in the area, and most of them enjoy ordering the housemade braised soups, all made with quality ingredients. The owner even showed us the fish maw she uses ^^ Since we had a late lunch, we ordered the Boneless Hainaese Chicken Rice $13.95 to share. It comes with a can of pop, a side of sweet soy sauce and ginger green onion sauce. You can also get 20% off any of their housemade braised soups when you purchase a meal. There are so many snacks and bentos the menu, I'll defintiely come back again to try more items!
I got the hainanese chicken rice comes with a pop while my boyfriend got their yin yang chicken rice. The hainanese chicken was probably one of the best that I've had in Toronto. Rice was flavourful and not too wet like other places I've tried. The chicken was very soft and juicy. I didn't finish the whole meal. I saved half of it and ate it the next day after microwaving it and the chicken still tastes great. My boyfriend also said that his rice is pretty good and portion size was decent. Too be honest, I thought this would just be a place that I try once and not go back to since I am moving away from this area but this chicken rice would definitely be worth going back to :D
Their food is on the pricier end for Bentos, but the higher food quality is definitely worth the price. Be sure to try their herbal soups! Only small critique I have is the wait can be pretty long for a Bento place 15 to 20 minutes but that is because they make everything fresh.
