Sandra and I stopped at Bagel Central in Bangor.  Difficult to find parking in downtown area but worth the effort.  We "filled in the corners" as the Hobbits like to say with some breakfast.  This is someplace I would take visiting friends.  A little busy but nice atmosphere, excellent food . . . I just wish they had better coffee.

Best bagels I've ever known. They are the most amazing savory deliciousness that have ever crossed my taste buds. No other bagel could ever satisfy me the same way. The sandwiches and desserts are also a gift from above.

This place is great.  They make the bagels by hand, so they are rustic.  Tons of variety and places to sit.  They also have tons of yummy looking baked goods.
