My husband and I stumbled across this place when we were on a pit stop - so glad we did. : I was so excited to see a little vegan bakery - even better when we tried the treats!! Genuinely one of the best cupcakes I've ever had I got the Earl Grey ones, my partner tried the cookies n cream. Presentation was so cute as well! Very friendly service. I also bought a buttertart square and it was divine. Can't wait to come back whenever we are in the area again.
One of the best vegan shops I have tried. Their brownie was amazing and so soft. We also had an opportunity to try their cupcakes which were fantastic. A must try if you have a sweet tooth and have dietary preference.
5 stars because 1000 wasn’t an option. To die for. Actually. Their butter tarts are my absolute favourite but everything on their menu is incredible. The icing on their cupcakes is the perfect level of sweetness and I love that they use real ingredients to flavour. I’m not vegan nor am I vegetarian, but I do like to try to avoid animal products where possible. With Bad Vegan, you don’t feel like you’re missing anything. You can’t tell they’re gluten free or vegan. All you know is they are delicious and you feel good about eating them too!
Bad Vegan is the best! We discovered them when we were visiting Collingwood for my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday. They made her a delicious, beautiful cookies-n-cream cake with love and care, and we've been hooked ever since. All of their treats are amazing especially their maple butter tarts, and they are incredibly kind people. Bad Vegan is a must-stop in Collingwood!
I am not a person who is vegan, or gluten free. I have no food allergies or restrictions either. However, I do enjoy tasty treats. I figured I would give them a try while I was in town in the summer. I got a pretty good selection of treats to try. Of all the bakeries I've ever been to, this one has been the best. Regardless it's GF and Vegan, they are the best baked goods I've ever eaten. There was nothing I ate that made me believe anything was Vegan and/or gluten free. And with my wife having been GF and vegetarian when I met her, I have tasted food that is quite obviously GF and vegetarian/vegan. Without a doubt, anytime I am in town, I will be coming to the Bad Vegan. It's good.
