Backstairs Burger

Very good. I had the OG burger with salted backstairs fries, and the backstairs filled donut. The donut was especially good. I'll definitely be back to try out more of their menu.

Burger was...good, nothing great about it. Good variety of burgers to choose from. You are strongly encouraged to download an app and order for yourself, the staff bring and remove plates. No non-alcoholic drink menu that I could find. Burger was $13-17 per for ONLY the burger, no side. $6 side dish, we had fries and onion rings. Seasoning on them was tasty and different. Everything was good but not sure value was good nor worth 20% tip for lackluster service.

Went there for the first time today. And I had the sugarskull burger and fries. Let me tell you. They were awesome! I will be back with more friends. The food was very filling. Thank you!

Outstanding burger! We ordered the The Professor PB&J due to the intriguing sounding flavours and our expectations were exceeded. Well-balanced flavours, perfect bun texture and great ratio of burger to bun large patty!. Our special requests were graciously accommodated bacon vs pork belly, well-done patty. Scoured city menus for the best burger for our one night in Edmonton and think we won the lottery. Thanks, Backstairs, for designing such a tasty burger and preparing it with great care!

What an amazing experience the food is so delicious and open kitchen so you get to watch the show for the most part a 1 man show. I have seen others work with him here and there but from what I see it's a 1 man show. The full menu is so creative every time I come I have to try something new and always have a new favorite. The staff in the front are great as well but man the flavors that come out of BackstairsBurger is mouth watering. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Had their equivalent to a mushroom burger. The food collective kitchen and cafeteria is a great idea for fledgling businesses. The atmosphere was nice in the collective. The backstairs burger was not the best in Edmonton as was the claim but really I had a much bigger issues with the meal. The reason for my low rating is because their burger did not come with fries or any side. When you are paying anywhere from $13 - $20 for a burger/sandwhich at a dine in resturant the expectation is a carb filler or side. If there are no fries or salad with the sandwiches or burgers point it out on the menu unless you want to hide that fact. Every other dine in resturant serves fries with their sandwiches and burgers at that price point. I did ask the waitress, who was nice and polite. She told me fries were not served with their burgers or sandwiches because people would not finish them and there was food waste. People did not finish their fries so they stopped serving them. Me and another friend ordered from here and received a burger and sandwich. We were both surprised that their were no fries. It felt like we were being served by a food truck running low on supplies. I went in with a third friend who was at another food collective for their vegan options. He loved it. My experience is soured to coming back to the food collective until inconsistent issues like this are addressed. My critique can easily be corrected giving the option of fries whether it is an extra charge or included and stating that on the menu clearly. My order was in the evening of June 30/2022.

Had the brisket burger and it was messy but absolutely delicious. I am picky with my brisket and it was moist and highly recommend. It was accompanied with their crack fries which were good but a bit too salty for my liking. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

OG burger all the way loved it!!! Fries lightly pickled so delish.Yum will be back. Like their ordering system very cool.

Awesome burgers! Already on my top list of burgers in the city, and cant wait to try more of the menu Edit: tried 2 new creations at tonight's pop up and they have officially taken over as my favourite burgers. The burgers I tried tonight can't even be rivaled by anyone in the city

Amazing food and unique experience. The watermelon salad was delicious!
