I love this place, got here and was told an hour min wait but they slipped us in… hot pizza within 20 minutes! backyard chicken pizza is a must beer is great too. also the option of pop for the kids.
Really tasty pizza for sure, but for some reason the owner/server seemed reluctant to talk to our group even though he was chatting away with the other groups who came in. Parking: Parking right in front of the store and also across the street near the library.
We are from Buffalo, NY we know pizza visiting and had an absolutely great couple slices! Great pizza, good sized slices, owner was super friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Pemberton area or West Coast in general!
We pre ordered a bunch of pizzas for wedding and they stole the show. Almost more compliments on the pizza than the wedding! If you only get one meal in Pemberton make sure it’s pizza from backcountry ! Thanks for the food!

I stay at the Pemberton Valley Inn when in town for business. The front desk highly recommended Back Country Pizza. She was soooooo right. I devoured the entire personal pizza which was a good size 10”. Highly recommend BCP!!
I've had the luxury of eating here the three times I've visited the Pemberton area for work, and let me tell you, these guys can make a 'za . Delicious, piping hot, full of flavors, they can't be beat for local pizza pies!!
Pizza was pretty good. Prices were high. Menu was small. For a nice looking sit down restaurant I expected more on the menu than 11 pizza flavours and nothing else. They could have salad, breadsticks, garlic bread, dips, lasagna, wings, dessert etc but they don't. They need to branch out a little. I tried the other pizza place in town Grimms this place wasn't as greasy but Grimms had a tad more flavour. Pretty close though. Almost a tie. Grimms has a large variety of other food as well though. Edit: came back a couple years later and the pepperoni seems to have shrank. Much smaller now. New photo added.
We splurged after hiking the Joffre Lakes. The pizza was amazing!!
Amazing pizza... soooo delicious. just couldn't stop eating. Selection of wine was too much to ask for.Food: 5/5
