Backcountry Brewing

Upbeat place, quick and friendly service. Good music playing. Lots of selection, similar craft breweries usually only have 2 or 3 flavours of sour beers, today they had 5 available which was nice. Food selection was just as great. Good pairings with the beverages. Tried the sweet honey wings here were a GO with the green onion. Prices fair as this is good quality, you pay for what you get!

Hadn’t been for a long while and I like the new seating with the comfy chairs. The vibe was youthful vibrancy. Service was friendly and good. Even when an order was mixed up it worked out in our favor… With a free pizza! Pizzas were fast and tasty. I loved the beer I had which was a sour with notes of guava and lime. It’s so reminded me of Costa Rica! And the plate of fresh arugula lightly dressed with the balsamic vinaigrette was a real hit! Enjoyed a delightful melange of flavours including toasted pumpkin seeds and feta cheese I’ll be back!

Great brewery. They have a huge selection of craft beer. And they have cans u can take home. Service was excellent! We had the chicken wings and pizza. I recommend both. The hot wings weren’t too spicy. They were quite tasty and crispy. Highly recommend. Pizza was also great. Nice crust, fresh and toasty. Very good job. Highly recommend.

Good place overall. - Drink: All beer were great. I got the taster with a few IPA, Pale Ale, and Lager. - Food: We had the Spicy pizza which tasted good as well, perhaps a bit more toppings would be great? - Service: I think the service could be a bit more welcoming? I felt everything was rushed, the server always asking a question and pretty much leaving at the same time.

I am from Ontario visiting BC. Nice place, and I was told very popular in the area. So we came to buy some of these famous beer. I got these ones in the picture wondering what would be the difference. I collected 4 different strong ones. Taste great, the first one. flavorful, fruity, however others almost tasted the same. Kinda disappointed!

Great place to stop in at if you’re going through or staying in Squamish. The beer is good. The only major disappointment I had was that the beer I liked the most, the cherry cola sour was sold out of cans so I couldn’t bring any home! I was super sad about this because it is such a unique sour, I haven’t had anything similar anywhere else. It’s a huge plus that they also offer delicious food! We tried the pepperoni pizza and the prosciutto pizza. Both were really tasty however the pepperoni was quite salty. Overall we will definitely recommend to friends and come back next time we are in the area!

Lots of beer options, almost too many, but I won’t complain. We had the chips and artichoke dip. Was about a million degrees and delicious. I can’t wait to come back! We bought a toque, two glasses and some beer to bring home.

I use to just pump the breaks in Squamish on my way to Whistler, now I love to stop and visit Backcountry Brewing. What an amazing space and a great experience. I love all the different beer selections and the food always leaves me wanting to try more. Can’t wait for my next trip to the mountains. The pizza, wings and Caesar salad were !!

The food is as great as the beer. Spacious place, quick delivery and friendly staff. After a day out, come here for a well deserved cheat meal and a few brews. The fruity beers are excellent in the summer heat.

Fun interior, efficient staff, lots of tasty beer. Backcountry seems to do an especially great job on citrus beers, and the tangerine in the 'I'm Not Even Supposed To Be Here Today' was fantastic. Happy to have an onsite kitchen, and the 'That's Amore' pizza was delish, really excellent pizza.
