Back-Achers Campsite

We camped the last week in June, the camp ground and bathrooms were clean. The people were friendly, especially the campground owner. She was very accommodating. Had a great time and would definitely camp there again.

The beach was not cleaned up there was Algae everywhere on the shoreline. And it seemed that all anyone did was drink alcohol. Wd not go back.

This was our second time staying at this campsite. We came back because we enjoyed how quiet it was, and how nice the owner was. This year it was like an entirely different campsite. The owner was exceptionally rude to us our entire stay, and was not very accommodating of our camper's needs - she would not move us to another site when we discovered the hookups were too far from the plug in spots, and assured us that the camper blocking us from pulling out would be gone before us (they were not). The bathrooms need a lot of updating and were dark, smelly, and hot. I don't expect luxury when camping, but this was downright gross. The campsite is mostly seasonal campers who were very rude towards new comers, but had a tight knit clique who were loud and boisterous late into the evening when we were trying to sleep. We had family join us in the tent, and when we went to reserve their space the owner acted like they would be full for the weekend and was again quite rude to us. However the weekend came and there were plenty of open tent spaces for our family. This was our second stay at this campsite, and it will most definitely be our last.

Great place to stay. Wanda does a great job running the place and there's a nice beach with a swim area.
