Got the Hawaiian and spicy supreme- absolutely delicious! Good portion size and generous amount of toppings. The crust was baked perfectly. Will be back to try the rest of the menu! Edit: I came back twice more and both times ordered online around 5:30-6pm. Both times only waited about 5 min at the door during pickup. The scotch bonnet dust is no joke- it was so spicy! BBQ wings are really well done. Loved the kale in the veggie pizza- really unique! You guys have me hooked
We were so excited to try out Babylon! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is super cute, and the pizza was AMAZING! Crust, cheese, toppings… perfect. There were two cons, the first being that there is not enough room inside for folks waiting for their orders. And the second, similar to other reviews here, is that we waited an additional 45 minutes after our pizzas were supposed to be ready for pickup. I recommend Babylon to my friend the next day, but she ended up waiting the same additional time for her order! I am really really hoping the wait times will change to accurately reflect how long it will take. Don’t get me wrong, I will gladly wait a long time for a good pizza, but I have to know in advance so I’m not standing around, wasting my time for 45 mins.
The 10” pizza - the only size offered and yet no size info beyond “regular given on the website - was small even for the box size. We ordered at 4 pm, were given an “it’s ready” text at 5 pm and were still waiting in the restaurant at 5:30. The staff member informed us that they didn’t even put both pizzas in at the same time so our wait would be extended even longer. As for the pizzas themselves: they were mediocre. The meat lovers lacked much in the way of meat, the mushroom was short on mushrooms…it was a disappointment. We are close enough to Detroit that the owner should really reevaluate calling this Detroit style. My advice? We have many great pizza places in Sarnia, choose somewhere else.
Great pizza! Ordered 4 motor city pies with help and recommendations from the very genuine and kind guy running things last night Zac. Kids and adults all loved it. Easily the best pizza we’ve had in Sarnia and we’ve tried a lot!. This will definitely become a staple for our household.
Amazing little shop with incredible Detroit style pizza! Their Mac and cheese is also SO good! It’s definitely the best pickle pizza I’ve ever had & the ranch sauce on top was so great! Highly recommend!!
Oh. My. God. The most delicious pizza I have ever had! We tried the Caesar Kael Salad to start which was very fresh and delicious. We also had the Babylon Pepperoni and the Hawaiian BBQ. I am blown away. We ate every slice of the Babylon Pepperoni, it was so tasty. Definitely recommend this place! Service was quick & friendly!
This is our new go to pizza place and in love with the wings and the meatballs. I am not a huge generic pizza lover which are a dime a dozen here. This is gourmet pizza and is real Detroit style. Love the hot honey and marscapone and need to make myself try another besides vegetarian one , but am addicted. If someone wants bland generic pizza, this is not the place for them. Definitely try the wings!!!!!
We stopped here on a Friday night with a few friends. We ordered a Babylon pepperoni pizza. I would highly recommend probably the best pizza I've ever had. They also had local beers From refined fool which was a bonus. Can't wait to come back again the staff was super friendly.
Had Babylon for the first time today - me and my family split a small cheese pizza while we were downtown for the Dog Days event. The best cheese pizza we've ever had!! So nice to have a different type of pizza in Sarnia. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!
We got some takeout from this little downtown Sarnia gem and boy were we ever blown away at how delicious this pizza was. Not only that, but they're vegan pizza options that are actually really delicious. The location is very convenient. The staff are friendly, the quality is top-notch. The prices could be less but that's the only gripe here.
