Beat dog park I’ve ever been to. Great place for dogs to run around and socialize all year round. I like the trail/nature walk, the creek for my dog to cool off, and the people. All very pawsitive! I wish there were more trash cans around and not just at the entrance.
Love this park! It’s a great locale for nature walks & for a dog park. It is beautiful there, especially in winter, when it’s Narnia-like. The only negative is not having trash bins within the park, at least one at the halfway point, near the trees, to prevent needing to carry trash through the entire park/loop, especially dog excrement. Compliance to scooping would increase as well.

Lovely park for off leash dog walking. Lots of fenced open space and a trail along the creek in the woods as well. It used to sort of connect with the BX falls trail but doesn't. Still enough space for dog owners to get a walk in also. The parking lot can get quite busy so leash your dog until inside the fence. Not ideal if your dog is not friendly or doesn't do well on leash as there are a lot of off leash dogs of all sizes at any given time.
Beautiful and large dog park. Love the forest walk by the BX creek and the new trail through the farmlands.
This off leash dog park is the best dog park I have ever been it's wonderful in the summer as well as winter as you can see from these pics,me and my Daughter and of course our dogs love it
Only park in Vernon that allows dogs off leash. BX Creek flows directly through it. Great spot for active dogs. Update: They have done some nice things to the park recently. New fencing, new gates. Keep your dog on a leash when you enter the park. Once your dog is through the gates, let him rip. Oh and please bag their mess with the provided bags. Have been going here for 13 years now. It's awesome for the dogs.
Absolutely loved it. Beautiful walk through the forest and the dog park is first class. My dogs had a blast. All the people I met at the park were super friendly as well. Just the mosquitoes were a pain in the butt lol Next time, long sleeved clothing. I wished we had a park like this where I live...
I get it's an off leash dog park, but seriously the people with aggressive dogs need to go elsewhere or train your dogs better.
Beautiful big dog park with huge grass field and a forested area next to BX Creek. Beautiful.
