We visited Baton Rouge in Montreal last night. The atmosphere was decent — a mix between a sports bar and a pub-style restaurant. Service was friendly, but a bit scattered; we were helped by four different servers throughout the evening. Everyone was kind, though it felt a bit disorganized.nnThe food came out quickly and the portions were huge, but the quality didn’t quite match the quantity. The price of the food and drinks also did not match the quality. Appie, two drinks and mains over $160.nnIf you’re looking for generous portions of okay food, this might be your spot. But if you’re after the “best ribs in town,” you may want to keep looking.
My wife and I came out for a late dinner at Baton Rouge and were pleasantly surprised to get a table without a reservation. We both had the New York steak with mushrooms and a side of veggies, everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I honestly couldn’t get enough of it!nnOur server was amazing, friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. It had been a while since I last ate at Baton Rouge, but this visit reminded me why I liked it so much. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be coming back again soon.

Then I went to Baton Rouge, and it was such a great experience.nnI had the chicken tender salad for $22, and it was delicious. The portion was generous, the taste was spot on, and the price felt totally fair. On top of that, the vibe and atmosphere were really nice and comfortable.nnThanks for offering great food at a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The food was awesome and servers were very friendly. Ribs are tasty and salad was amazing. We had a great time dining there. It’s clean, delicious and comfortable place if you are in the neighborhood. Wine selections are good. Cocktails are good as well. Overall, it’s a decent place to visit.
Great place, prices, and overall experience. You can't really go wrong coming here as they are very consistent in both food and service from the multiple times I came here. The portions are always more than enough and quality, almost never dissapoints.
