Really liked this place. Bâton Rouge Grillhouse has a great vibe and feels lively and energetic, which makes it a nice spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is welcoming and not too noisy, so you can still have a good conversation.nnService was excellent — staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without being over the top.nnFood was good, portions were reasonable, and the steak was delicious and cooked well. The carrot cake was also really good and definitely worth trying.nnOverall, a very enjoyable experience. I’d definitely come back again.
It was amazing I highly recommend trying their table d'hôte menu because the pairings work well together.nnI had a chicken tortilla tomato soup, mesclun salad with avocado dressing, sante fe chicken it was grilled chicken breast, wild rice and grilled veg. But the sauce on the chicken was the winner and the goat cheese as well. I usually don't like goat cheese but on this dish it was heavenly!nnThe other fish we had was the grilled salmon, baked potatoes and grilled veggies. It was amazing as well. The desert of the day was this nice sponge cake with a maple drizzle and a small ice cream scoop. Delicious!nnBâton Rouge has been highly rated for years and for a good reason. Their plates are diverse and the pairings work well together.nnThis location has parking and is wheelchair accessible.nnWhen we left, we saw a few people waiting for a table at the entrance,but you can always make a reservation or wait because the food is worth the wait
Not a great place. The food was swimming in oil. The fries were soggy and tasteless. The steak portions were tiny for the price and definitely not worth the cost. The vegetables looked like they were just boiled in water with no seasoning or effort. The service is friendly, but very slow. Overall, overpriced and disappointing. Won’t be coming back.
I went here not eating ribs so I didn’t have high hopes , but I was blown away.nnThe mac and cheese is absolutely delicious . So creamy , with a sharp cheese and the bread crumbs on top perfectly toasted , I could eat 10.nnThe chicken dish I forgot the name of , was amazing , fresh and delicious .nnMy partner had the burger and it was so good .nnEven the kids meal came with so much food and was a hit .nnThe service was great , the server was friendly funny and fast .nnI will definitely be back .
Food and atmosphere was great. We were a large group but the table was perfect for us to chat with each other. I was surprised at how big the crème brûlée was, I thought it would be smaller. I almost couldn't finish it after the meal I ordered.
