Was just there today . At the till was an old Asian lady. Very rude, and dirty. She was scratching her head as my daughter and I walked up to the till, she flicked her nail as I saw a bunch of white flakes go flying into the air. It was pretty gross. I paid for the candy for my daughter and left only to realize my daughter grabbed peppermint flavor. She hates peppermint. So I went back in to exchange it. The old lady met me with a scornful look. I was able to switch out the candy for a flavor my little girl likes. But felt like I just killed someone's dog. I will never go back, nor will I ever tell anyone anything good about this place, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone ever.........
Candy is pretty expensive here and it's usually on its way of being expired or just straight up hard instead of soft. Also they set up these 'wow bags' that are supposed to be filled with candy people pour back into the eves drops but it's just full of candy no one bought so once again, it's expired. They supply a discount for these bags but it's a dollar or two at best
Tyler was a wonderful person to talk to and if I wasn't down with the sickness and poor I would have bought all the candy, my friends did have some ice cream though and we all shared a wonderful conversation, securing my desire to return! P.s. the reason the candy there is expensive compared to most others is because the mall's rent is obscene, if more people bought from them maybe they'd be able to lower the prices
I was double charged when there was a power failure. No problem. Called to speak to manager after I discovered and she claimed they refunded me in cash when I came in. I don’t live in Edmonton. So the bank will take care of it. All good except my daughters jelly-belly Candy was all stale. Over all not impressed with the managers attitude. The staff was friendly when I was in there. To recap -manager accused me of fraud and their jelly beans are stale, staff are nice.
Absolutely disgusting. We bought bulk Jelly Bellies and the majority were so stale and old that they crunched. I wouldn't recommend this store unless you enjoy candy that's probably been on display since the day B Sweet first opened.
The candy here is expensive for the most part. I bought their jelly bellies and they were all horribly stale - some so much so that they were crunchy. I don’t want to imagine how long those have been sitting there, and will not be returning to the store again.
This is by far my favourite shop ever!! I am a very customer now! You cab mix and match and prices... omg!!! Fantastic! Staff is so very friendly and the the gentleman i just met was able to show me candy I didn’t think existed anywhere anymore.. cant wait to go back!!!
Don't get the "wow bags". They are full of hard candies that were supposed to be soft and chewy. It's like the candies went past shelf life but the owner is some kind of krusty krabs manager who probably told their staff not to throw the candies out. Instead he told them to make bags full of old stale candy & keep trying to sell them...yeah, give it to the babies. Smh
Hadn't been here in year - went today and bought a "wow bag" for $6....but it wasn't a "wow this is good" or "wow I'm so glad I bought this". It was more like "wow I can't even chew this candy because it's rock hard" and "wow I'm going to need to hit the dentist when I lose a tooth on one of these". If you're going to go here, just stick to the packaged candy, not the bins. And avoid the wow bags.
While they do have a decent selection of candies that are not normally sold at other stores, the items that they do serve are rather overpriced compared to other candy stores. This can likely be explained by the location the store is situated in.
