Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Quiet. The gentlemen inside are friendly and knowledgeable. The exhibits inside are pretty infornational.I went specifically to check out the Secret War exhibit, it was pretty neat. If you're an aviation geek, it's worth checking out.
Really interesting museum with lots of exhibits. One of the exhibits told the story of a captain in Laos during the Vietnam War. The guy who was telling me about it turned out to be the captain himself! The staff was super knowledgeable, and the exhibits were interesting, especially considering it has free admission. There is also a test cockpit that they let you sit in and listen to the radio, turn on the engine, and pull the trigger with gunfire sound effects.
I brought my 3 year old here and there was lots to do! Had multiple simulation jets , He could play with all the buttons and switches and lights. Got to watch planes come in and out and hear the radio of the pilots as well. Definitely will be coming back! Great staff. clean.

We stopped by Sheboygan Memorial Airport today for a short break. I was not aware of the Center. We spent an hour there and will be back. The Center has some interesting display and the volunteers were great.
I had an amazing time here! We went with friends to fly and it was a blast. The views were amazing and the pilot was very sweet. I love how there is so much to see up there. The perspective is eye opening. I can't wait to go again, it was so much fun. Everything looks so beautiful when youre in the sky.
Hidden gem of local aviation history. Interesting displays including a tribute to the brave Hmong flyers who served our country during the Vietnam conflict.
The aviation Heritage Center of Wisconsin has many things to offer the aviation enthusiast. The museum in the building pays tribute to the local aviation history of the Sheboygan Falls area. There is also a library that provides information on several aviation-related topics. The Heritage Center is also host to several activities and local aviation-related organizations. The most popular of which is the Friday night movies in the hanger where you can watch classic Aviation films and enjoy a concessions sold by the local EAA chapter.
Great stop on our road trip home. The kid loved sitting in the cockpit simulator.
