Attending our first-ever hockey game at the Avenir Centre was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.nnFrom the moment we walked into the arena, we were impressed by how welcoming, clean, and well organized everything was. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made navigating the venue with kids easy and stress-free.nnThe atmosphere inside was incredible—full of energy, excitement, and community spirit—while still being very family-friendly. The music, in-game entertainment, and crowd enthusiasm kept our children fully engaged and smiling the entire night. Even as first-time hockey viewers, we found it easy to follow the game thanks to the excellent sightlines and clear view of the ice from our seats.nnWhat truly made the evening special was watching our kids experience live hockey for the first time: cheering for goals, reacting to big plays, and soaking in the excitement of the crowd. It turned into more than just a game; it became a memorable family moment we’ll always cherish.nnThe Avenir Centre delivered an outstanding experience and is the perfect place for families to enjoy live sports. Went to see Bryan Adams, AWESOME SHOW!! Our first time there and a little confusing figuring things out but the staff are amazing! Concessions on site, the sound quality, top notch, we're going back in the future!
The acoustics are next level! With Sarah Mclaughlin, you could hear a pin drop. For Blue Rodeo, the sound produced almost sounded like on-stage monitors, much better than the casino's venue.
Avenir Centre in Moncton is a great venue for concerts, sports, and major events. The facility is modern, clean, and well-organized, with good seating and sightlines. Staff are helpful, and the atmosphere during events is excellent. Food and beverage options are a bit limited and can be pricey, but overall it’s a fantastic place to enjoy live entertainment in the city.
We sat in Row 27, had more room and was more comfortable flying economy. My knees hit the guy in front of me, if I wanted in a pocket my elbows had to go in front of me at awkward angles. Trying to get past others to get to our seat felt like gymnastics class. Not enough space in the concourse for people to leave efficiently, maybe having most of the population bottled on the second floor wasn't a great idea. Good sight lines though.
